All Alone to the Dance

Lauren's POV
Tonight is the dance. Well not the school dance. I planned a party since my parents weren't going to be home for 3 months . It sounds cheeky and very logical. But I invited Camila. Something about her made me feel , a desire. Kind of like a cute boy from those boybands that girls 7+ stalk online although never meet them. But I met her. It was a reality that I would never want to end. I wanted to try and talk to her more tonight so I didn't invite my best friends. Ok never mind I invited two of them. But they brought their boyfriends to keep them company all night. Then finally everyone arrived at my house and began to party. Gosh it sounded better in my head.
" Hey Claire have you seen the new girl ? "
" No , but some girl was running upstairs to the roof. "
" Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's her. "
I ran as fast as I could hoping that she wasn't going to do something harmful.
That's when I found her , looking through my family pictures. Only the ones with myself. That sounded like improper grammar. Any who.
" What are you doing ?" I said as I picked one up. Second grade. Tiara.
" Oh don't mind me. I just saw these. You were cute as a kid. " she laughed.
" Hey I want to know you. I didn't have the chance at school. Especially to finish my sentence. "
" Don't worry about it. What were you going to say ? "
" That I love your eyes. And you are beautiful. "
Gosh that was such a TFIOS moment. I shouldn't have told her so soon. I met her hours ago.
" Oh.. I - I love your eyes too. Bright green is a beautiful color. " she began to blush.
I slowly moved my hand closer. Why was I acting like this ?
She looked at my hand , then straight at my eyes. She moved further away.
" It's okay , I won't hurt you. " I said looking at her lips. They were a bright red. Just like mine. I grabbed her face. She closed her eyes. I let go. Too soon.
" Sorry I just - "
" It's okay. I'm not afraid. "
She placed my hand against her face again.
" I ... Liked it "
I reached out for a kiss. Why did I do that too soon ? Thoughts raced my mind. I pulled back.
" Are you sure , we met hours ago , I don't want to come off as a whore. " I said
" Don't worry , I trust you.."
