When Ingeld, Yngvi, and the twins arrived at Valhalla, Hilda turned towards them with a grim face.
"Our old foe is here," She said in a low voice, her hatred at Poseidon undisguised.
"What happened?"
"Poseidon appeared from the sea," Frodi explained. "Sigmund and the others are down there to talk to them."
"There's no need to talk to them. They're enemies, and they shall remain our enemies."
Haldor, one of the god warriors to be, had arrived with the other three god warrior candidates— Einar, Xerneas, and Ethan.
Ethan straightened his glasses, "My cousin once said that it was Poseidon who made Hilda wear the Nibelungen Ring, so that he can take advantage of Asgard. So what does he want this time?"
"Up to no good, more than likely," Hilda said in disgust, still eyeing the God Warriors below. She suddenly went to the Altar table and picked up the seven colored Runestones.
"Take this!"
She tossed the runestones to the new God Warriors, and gave her spear to Lyfia, "Repeat what I say, 'I, Priestess of Odin, bestow upon you Odin's blessing to become His God Warriors!'. Do this and raise the spear into the air."
Lyfia, who was still shaken by the incident, grabbed the spear with trembling hands. She raised the spear towards the sky and said firmly, "I, Priestess of Odin, bestow upon you Odin's blessing to become His God Warriors!"
Cosmo shot out of the spear and formed the constellation of the Seven Stars. The runestone in each of the god warriors' hands glowed. A thin string of light from the stone headed to different directions.
"Go and retrieve your God Robes! We need them to summon Odin's Divine Robe!"
There was another loud splash from the ocean, and countless soldiers walked out of the sea. Ingeld glanced at the stairs leading towards the coast and saw the Sigmund and the other running up in top speed.
"Go and find the Alpha Robe, Ingeld!" He yelled. "The Mariners are going to try and stop you!"
The new God Warriors nodded and turned to leave the altar.
"You are not going anywhere."
Poseidon stepped down from his chariot and raised his Trident, and the Light of the Sea God flooded the place. To those who were standing on the altar, they were forced to kneel down. But the God Warriors, who had slipped off the altar were fortunately just felt at tremendous cosmo slightly slowing them down.
The Marine Generals seized the chance to pursue the God Warriors as they headed to the location of their respective God Robes. Meanwhile, Frodi turned angrily towards Poseidon.
"You, you shall never lay a finger on the land of Aesir Gods!"
Poseidon smirked, "Well, we'll see about that."
Poseidon shot a beam at Frodi, who quickly dodged it. He grabbed the Draupnir–a weapon that the gold saint Leo Aiolia had used to seal Loki, from its box, which was on the Altar table and held it up to Poseidon.
"You're going to fight me with a puny weapon like that?" Poseidon raised an eyebrow at him.
"In case you don't know, this is a sacred weapon belonging to Aesir Gods, and it is known to be powerful enough to defeat a god!" Frodi shouted at him. "Sigmund, Surt, Hercules – with me!"
"Frodi!" Lyfia was about to stop Frodi, saying it was too dangerous to fight face to face with a god—but a hand was placed on her shoulder. It was Hilda.
"He must do this, you do know yourself," the former priestess said quietly. "Rather than that, think of a way to support him."
Lyfia glanced at the pendant Aiolia had given her, which was hanging around her neck, "Asgard Blessing."
"Exactly. I'll show you how to activate it without the Yggdrasil tree."
Meanwhile, the Asgard Soldiers were fighting off against Thetis and the mariners, and the remaining God Warriors were engaged in a battle against Poseidon himself.
"You do have a lot of courage to come up against me," the sea god remarked, parring off a blow of Surt's torching blade. "But you are still mere mortals, and are far weaker than me."
"You're trapped in a human vessel," Sigmund pointed out, catching hold of the Draupnir, which Frodi has thrown to him. "I don't see how you're different from us. PEARL DE OKRAAN!!"
Holding the Draupnir in on hand, he swung his blade at Poseidon with the other. Poseidon retaliated by knocking it off to one side using his Trident.
"Humans. Such stubborn creatures," he remarked, jabbing his weapon into the sea around him. Waves swirled around him, forming into some kind of aquatic rope, and wind around Sigmund's feets trying to drown him down.
"Sigmund!" Hercules pulled Sigmund out just in time before the young man vanished from the water surface. Sigmund shook himself like a dog, muttering angrily at Poseidon.
"Blasted god! How dare he drench me like this?!"
"Sigmund!" Frodi shouted, shooting the blade of his sword at Poseidon. "Quit grumbling! We have to hold him back as long as we could until the Seven God Warriors return!"
Just as he finished saying that, Frodi felt a familiar cosmo backing him up. It seemed to be radiating from the direction of the Odin statue...Could it be...?
"Lyfia has activated Asgard Blessing!" Surt told him. "How did she manage without the Yggdrasil?"
Hilda had given Lyfia instructions on what to say for a prayer for Asgard Blessing to Odin. While Lyfia was concentrating to distribute the cosmo to the fighting soldiers of Asgard, Hilda used her spear to threaten any mariners who dared to disturb Lyfia.
"What a very brave girl."
Hilda turned, and saw Thetis grinning at her.
"Defending the priestess all by yourself while the God Warriors are busy having fun out there?"
"I'm a Valkyrie," Hilda pointed her spear at Thetis. "And it is my duty to serve Odin, especially in a time like this."
Thetis readied herself on a battle stance, "Well, let us see–if those God Warriors that the Valkyrie choose are worthy to become Odin's knights."
