"That's not possible..." Li Lisa found it hard to believe him. She continued, "Grandpa dotes on me, how could he bear to sell me out..."

Having said that, she looked deeply hurt.

He might be speaking the truth.

Old Master Li normally seemed an agreeable man and had a ready smile for just about everyone.

However, there was only one person that he consistently sang praises of, and that was Mu Jungkook.

He often prompted her, that if she didn't like Mu Sehun, she could consider Mu Jungkook, for he wasn't a bad lad.

However, whenever Li Lisa rejected that idea, Old Master Li would not insist, but the next time and many times after that, he would still sing praises of Mu Jungkook .

Hence... it was possible that Grandpa, perhaps, maybe... was only too happy to marry her off to Mu Jungkook.

At this thought, she feltterribly heartbroken.

Mu Jungkook's smile broadened. He suddenly asked,
"Any idea where my property deed is?"

"Ah?" Li Lisa was taken aback. "What's the matter?"

They were at a crossroad junction at this point.

Mu Jungkook unbuckled his seat belt and reached for the document folder in the backseat. He dropped it on Li Lisa's lap and instructed, "Have a look at it."

She threw him a suspicious glance and started to draw out the red booklets in the folder, one at a time.

There were four in all.

She flipped one open and saw that it was the property deed for Qing Shui Fu. She was surprised when she saw the name on it. "Why has it got only my name on it? no one came to me to complete the formalities."

"It's ours."

Hence, there was no need for formalities.

Ours...

Li Lisa was secretly happy to hear that. However, she immediately raised another question. "You've transferred the property to my name, but what if I refused to marry you? Wouldn't that have been a great disadvantage to you, then?"

"No." The car engine started up again as Mu Jungkook said unhurriedly, "I had decided to marry you a long time ago."

Her heart skipped a beat. All of a sudden, she was
inundated with a flood of emotions.

Blushing slightly, she looked again at the name on the document and said disdainfully, "What do you mean? What if I refused? Nothing had been agreed before you made such a costly move. Are you in your right mind?"

Mu Jungkook laughed. Reaching out to give her head a little push, he said, "You've gained an advantage from this, so stop pretending otherwise."

"It's true," she protested boldly. "Who on earth would do something like this? You're lucky enough to have me. If this had happened to some other woman, she'd have run away with all these documents and not married you. We'll see who ends up crying, then."

Mu Jungkook couldn't agree more. He nodded and said, "You're right."

Li Lisa snapped the booklet shut upon hearing this.

She picked up the next booklet, but before she could
flip it open, she heard him remarking, "Thank god I
only have one woman."

His prim and proper tone made her smile.
