He glanced sideways at Li Lisa.

"What if I hadn't force you to marry me?" The man's hand glided down her tresses and rested on the back of her neck. His eyes were deep and dark and his voice was hoarse. "What if I weren't your man?"

"I love you, Ah Kook." Li Lisa was serious. "even if I hadn't married you, I'd still have liked you."

Li Lisa stared into his eyes that were like a moon above the distant mountains, shrouded in a hazy mist.

"You're my only man, Mu Jungkook. I'm counting on you to take care of me and our children in the future."

Li Lisa took a deep breath and said in a trembling voice, "You have to be well. Nothing must happen to you."

Mu Jungkook's heart melted.

Lowering his head, he pressed his lips against hers.

His heart felt as though it was engulfed by a burning sweetness.

He let go of her and whispered in his husky voice,
"That alone is enough for me."

Li Lisa breathed heavily and her long eyelashes fluttered.

"It doesn't matter if it's a dream or reality." Mu Jungkook's eyes were filled with longing as he continued softly, "What you've said, is enough for me."

She felt a lump rising in her throat. "Ah Kook..."

Mu Jungkook lowered his head and kissed her on the lips, silencing her.
