Li Lisa pondered for a moment in response to his question. Then looking mysterious, she said "This is just what I heard. If I'm wrong, I hope you won't be angry."

Marco was paying close attention to everything Li Lisa was saying, and now that she said this, he was even more alert.

Noticing the hesitation in her expression, he prodded her, "Go on, tell me about it."

Li Lisa looked at the man, and then at Will. " I heard from my husband that you are part of an internationally very powerful family called Rothschild."

As she spoke, she carefully observed Marco's and Will's expressions.

The two of them exchanged a glance without much reaction.

Li Lisa continued, "According to some secret information, it seems that the Rothschild family has changed a lot over the years. Mr. Marco is most likely one of the very few remaining heirs of the Rothschild family. However, it appears that you've made a couple of blunders. From what I know, you're here to look for something."

As she spoke, Li Lisa picked up her cell phone and pulled out the photograph she had taken from Mu Jungkook's computer.

In the photograph, Lin Yubi was holding a cane with a large diamond PhotoShoped onto it. It looked luxurious and elegant.

When Marco saw the picture of the cane, his eyes lit up.

Then squinting slightly, he looked up at Li Lisa and asked, "Who is this person?"

"The sister of Lin Ya, mayor of Guang City, and the current wife of my ex fiance. Her name is Lin Yubi."

Without a hint of emotion, Li Lisa continued, "If I'm not wrong, this is the object you're looking for, right?"

Marco frowned and looked at Will. "Who had this thing back then?"

Will looked at Marco respectfully and solemnly. "It was with... Miss Bei."

Marco's gentlemanly face clouded over. "Then why is it in this person's hands now?"

"Miss Bei Lilia and the ex-president, Mr. Bei Yun, died in a massive car accident 18 years ago." Li Lisa said as she pulled out another photograph.

It was a picture of the accident scene. "Miss Bei Lilia died on the spot, and they failed to resuscitate Mr. Bei Yun on the way to the hospital. He passed away then."

Marco's eyes were fixed on the screen of Li Lisa's
cell phone. He stared at the black jeep in it for a long time before looking up at Li Lisa.

His silently clenched his hands that were resting on his knees. Marco's lips tightened, and his deep features took on an indescribable solemness.

Will also looked at Li Lisa in disbelief. "Miss Lisa, you..."

"This is what I've found out." Li Lisa smiled stiffly.

"My husband put in a lot of effort to investigate this matter, but according to witnesses, they did not see this cane at the scene of the accident. It seemed to have vanished into thin air and no one saw it again afterwards."

Marco's expression was sombre, as was Will's.

Will looked at Li Lisa and asked, "Miss Lisa, have you seen this object before?"

Will looked at Li Lisa and said, "Miss Lisa, are you aware that this...." He pointed at the large diamond on the cane that was obviously PhotoShoped into the picture. "...wasn't a diamond."
