Chapter VIII

"I..." Reo exhaled deeply hoping that Nagi would leave and just ignore him, but that's obviously not gonna work.

"Reo. Come with me, I need to tell you something." Before Nagi could grab Reo's hand, Eita suddenly grabbed Nagi's shoulder to make him sit down.

"Nuh uh, young man. You're not gonna hurt Reo in my watch and leave him hanging alone outside. You both talk here in front of me."

"What? This doesn't concern you, Eita."
Nagi was intending to stand up but Eita glared ferociously at him. So he didn't take the risk and just sat down.

"Now, tell me. What in the world happened between the two of you?" Eita asked like he was interrogating two suspects (of love)

"Reo...is avoiding me. I don't even know what is his problem!"

"What..? Of course I would be avoiding you! You fucking used me!"

"Used you?!? You cheated on me!" Nagi yelled as loud as he could, he was expecting to see a mad expression on Reo's face but instead it was a confused one.

"Cheated..? What are you talking about?! We're not even dating!"

Nagi felt his heart sink.

"We're not...?"

"Now, now. You both have a huge misunderstanding going on here. Let's focus on the main topic for now. Why did you avoid Nagi?"

"Because, he obviously used me for his own sake! Even playing with my feelings..."

"What are you talking about Reo!?! I never used or played with your feelings!" Nagi stood up because of the questions he needed to ask.

"Yes you did! After you said earlier that we were dating, if we really were, why the hell would you kiss Isagi!? Why would you go to the mall with him and not me?! Why would you let him pick you up for school?! Why would you let him cook breakfast for you instead of me!?! Why would you go home with him...and not me...? Why not me...?" Reo stood and cried softly while patting his chest a few times.

"Because, we needed to make Rin jealous...? Didn't I tell yo-" before Nagi could complete his sentence, he received a big impact of a slap on his face. His eyes became blurry after seeing Reo sob while putting his hand down after slapping him.

"Fuck you, Nagi. FUCK YOU. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD ACTUALLY DO THAT TO ME JUST TO MAKE SOMEONE JEALOUS!" Reo yelled as if he was screaming his lungs out. A lot of the bar customers suddenly stared at them strangely but Eita just signalled them to look away.

"But I...I told you! I even sent you a l-letter...!" Warm tears suddenly came out of Nagi's eyes as he was reaching for Reo.

"Save it. I'm not in the mood for your explanation." Reo slapped Nagi's hand away after patting his eyes to stop the tears from coming out.

Reo walked out quietly while taking his phone out to call Shidou. He felt heavy and hurt. He's like leaving a 10 year dog behind.

"Hey demon. Come over." Reo said almost whispering.

"Oh shit. Am I allowed to hit now?" Shidou said excitedly

"No, you dumbass. I just need...something" Reo said accidentally letting a sob out.

"I'm in front of your house." Shidou hurriedly went to Reo's house because he heard him crying intensely.

"You idiot, I'm not even at home yet. Wait me inside, I'll tell you the pass code."

"Yes boss." Shidou replied while tapping the pass code.

"Guess who fucked up...? It's Nagi Seishiro!" Either said happily but you could see that he was still confused deep down.

"Shut up." Nagi said while dropping his head at the counter.

"Haha, well it was your fault."

"No it's not...! Reo even agreed to the deal! I sent him the letter and things. But he didn't reply to me, so I was taking it as a yes because he was always like that!"

"Huh. You did? Are you sure he received the letter though? You know, you should've waited for a reply. Don't always take the silent as an answer." Eita responded.

"Yes I'm sure! I even told his friend to give it to him!"

"So, you didn't give it to him."

"I did! I really-" Nagi fought back but Eita continued.

"You gave it to HIS friend. Not to him directly."

"Right..." After Nagi realized what Eita meant by that he suddenly took out his phone and started to dial Reo's phone, but before he could, Eita stopped him from calling Reo.

"Not right now. He's thinking about things. Let him be for now, Nagi." Eita replied while looking at the dispirited Nagi sitting back down.

"Reo..." He muttered softly.

"Welcome home, come in."

"Stop acting like it's your house." Reo mumbled while putting his things down.

"Haha, alright. Let's sit on the couch, shall we?" Shidou took Reo's coat and hung it at a nearby hanger.

"So..why were you crying on the phone? Did something happen?" Shidou asked while caressing Reo's hair down.

"No, I-uh... I talked with Nagi earlier. And it was about a deal that I don't even have a clue about."

"Wait what?" Shidou suddenly stood up from sitting on the couch.

"What?" Reo answered while rubbing his eyes.

"You didn't know? Like about the deal? Didn't Nagi tell you at personal or perhaps chatted with you about it?" Shidou looked confused the same as Reo was.

"No, he said he gave me a letter. That's all I heard earlier. But I didn't even get anything, have you by any chance seen close to a letter?"

"No, I don't think so-... actually yeah I think..." Shidou realized what was going on.

"You do?! Where is it then!?!

"Hiori burned it. I saw him burning something when I went to your house like a few days or weeks ago, remember? We even ate breakfast together that day." Shidou replied while scratching his neck.

"What!? But Hiori won't do something like that! He's my friend. He won't just burn any letters that are for me!"

"I don't think so, purple bun. He's a one crazy bastard." Reo felt shivers on his spine when Shidou dropped that sentence.
