Chapter 8: To Make it Come True

(I never thought I would have so much fun writing for an OC! I have made a few or written for my friends' OCs, but it is really fun to have your own! I adore the one I've created, but I know she has some flaws as well. Enjoy!)

           "So, what is the plan?" Lea asked as he glanced to the Shroud heir.

They turned another corner before stopping. They were quiet, but they heard a rumble and shared a concerned expression. Lea was worried about Isa and the others as Idia realized this and understood.

"If you want, go to them" Idia suggested as he turned his direction to another hallway, "I am going to do something a protagonist would do, if that's fine with you"

Lea blinked at Idia before chuckling, "Nah, Isa's got it. Plus, you and I are friends. Gotta support that friendship! So, where do you want to go? I can tell you want to go somewhere. Roxas and Xion always had that look of wanting to go somewhere"

Idia blushed at being compared to two kebylade wielders who he viewed as the best written ones, but he couldn't argue with Lea. He wanted to see her, Proserpina. He sent the message Cater gave to him to his little brother. He was sure he, Brain, and Malleus could make sense of it.

"I want to see Proserpina" Idia confessed, "I want to make sure she's ok like she always did for me"

He never forgot the pile of letters she sent him along with the many texts while he shut himself off from her and the world. He held a fond expression as he thought about her and Vil who helped him too. Sure, he did help Malleus, but he wanted to help Pina too.

"Ah, see. You even got the look I had" Lea said in a knowing tone, "Wanting to help those close to you. Wanting to do what they would've done. Been there and doing that. It is a good look on you. You've learned and wanted to show off! So, let me help you show off, Idia!"

Idia grinned sheepishly before nodding his head and gesturing Lea to follow him. They ran down the hall with Idia holding his phone to pull up a map. He found Proserpina and continued down the path with Lea close to him.

"Welp! I think we've checked every book and scroll! So, let's review!" Brain said as he closed a book and faced the fae and humanoid.

Ortho pulled up a screen detailing all the information they were able to recover from Pina's room. They concluded that a descendant of a Shroud and Ver were needed to restore the lock in S.T.Y.X to prevent the titans and blots from escaping. However, there were many different spells used to perform this. The First Shroud and Ver were close to creating a spell that would allow the First Shroud to be free for 6 months for his duty, give or take. The spell Pina would perform would just seal the titans in S.T.Y.X. and leave the First Shroud there to deal with them alone if they were ever free and without allowed to summon help.

"So, do we have any mockups?" Brain asked with an eager expression until he noticed a message appearing from Idia.

Ortho pulled up the image and revealed it to be the stage where Pina would perform the spell. Malleus' eyes were wide as he saw the symbols on the stage.

"What?" he whispered before staring at the symbols closely, "This is incredible and dangerous!"

"Ortho, can you translate what those symbols are?" Brain asked curiously, "I don't know what it is"

The humanoid nodded his head as his eyes flashed before changing the symbols into the modern alphabet. Brain's eyes were wide as he took in everything.

"Oh, that's not what I was expecting" Brain confessed, "But if this is true and she changes the spell without your big brother, that's not exactly an ideal outcome anyone wants"
