(Butters P.O.V.)

I heard my phone get a notification, I was glad my father didn't take it away for now, I picked it up and checked what the notification was.

It was... A message from Kenny.

My eyes were wide open, Kenny doesn't text me often, so it was a surprise for me. And, because I dont even know where he got a phone from, he always breaks them the second he gets them and cant afford one, but I wont ask.

"Hey Leo, I just wanted to know if u.. Idk, may you wanna hg sometime?" The message said.

"Well, sure I do Ken!" I texted him back.

"cool, so, tomorrow sounds good enough? :)"

Tomorrow..? Awh geez, I might not be able to go out tomorrow, i thinked for a second before writing back:

"Oh.. I got grounded and I probably have to stay home for a couple days..."

A few minutes passed before Kenny replied again.

"Look outside your window,"

Huh? What does he mean by that? Suddenly, I heard little sounds that came from my window, looks like someone is knocking or throwing things at it. I gulped, not sure to open it or not. I peeked for one second, seeing Kenny outside my house and standing in the snow, my eyes shined and I gave a little smile. Then, I realized that Kenny must be freezing alone and I'm just staring at him from the window, so I put on my coat and glooves, rapidly running towards the door to open it.

"Where do you think you're going young man?" I heard my dad talk to me, I kind of forgot about my parents.

"I-I left something outside," I tried to convince them.

My parents looked at each other and then at me. ''You better come quick,'' my father said, I smiled and nodded, rapidly opening the door and running towards Kenny.

''Kenny!'' I called for Kenny's attention.

''Hi Butters!'' He waved at me, his expression seemed clearly happy.

''K-Kenny, what are you doing here?'' I said, shaking a bit because the cold breeze.

"I came to see you, how come you're grounded again?" He wasnt surprised, just a little bit confused.

"I-I forgot to do something important, I wish I would just remember things..." I said with a big sigh. I look at Kenny's hands, he isnt wearing his usual brown glooves, ''Oh? What happened to your glooves, Kenny?''

Kenny looked down at his hands, and then he sighed.

"I gave them to Karen, she had cold hands and I didnt want her catch a cold."

''Awh, you're such an amazing big brother, Kenny.'' I said, smiling at him sweetly. ''Here, let me give you mine,'' I said, taking out my glooves and handing them to Kenny, ''I never use them anyway.''

''Woah, Leo, I dont want to bother you. You really dont need to-'' I stopped him middle sentence.

''Shush, you deserve them Kenny.'' I said, grabbing his hand and gently putting my gloove on it.

I see Kenny's eyes look down at his hand, interlacing our fingers together. I look up at Kenny, our eyes locked with each other, I smile warmly at him while his gaze softens. Kenny takes off his hood, looking deply into my eyes, those blue purplish looking into my blue greenish ones. We started to lean closer to each other's face. We felt our breaths combine, our faces inches away from touching but before we could do anything...

"Kenny... I-" I stopped my tracks when I heard a rough voice come from the inside of my house.

"BUTTERS, COME HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT OR YOU WILL BE GROUNDED THE WHOLE WEEK." My dad yelled, I sighed and looked back at Kenny, putting my other glove on his free hand.

"I-I'll see you around, Kenny." I smile at him one last time, letting go of his hand.

''Ah, yeah. I'll see you around, Buttercup.''

We waved at each other, both of us upset but pretending to be fine, we almost felt our lips against each other...

I looked over my dad, who is sitting on the couch with my mother, they didnt even payed attention when I entered the room. I ran upstairs, closing the door of my room quickly. I walk over the window and open it, trying to see if Kenny was already gone. For my bad luck, he wasnt nowhere to be seen. I sighed and closed the window, laying on my bed thinking of what could have happen.

''That almost happened, I should had done it right there!'' I thinked, dissapointed in myself. I took off my coat slowly, leaving it on the side of my bed. I wrapped myself in the blankets, trying to get some sleep.
