They had told Father Gordon their decision to take the case and where currently on a plane to Raleigh. It was a short flight, only about 2 hours. Lorraine read her novel most of the way while Ed glanced through a news paper he had picked up from a coffee shop they went to before their flight. Drew had also come with them but he was sitting in the row behind them and she didn't know what he was up to in order to pass the time.

Finally the plane touched down and they collected their things from baggage claim. "So remind me where is their house again?" Drew asked Ed and Lorraine, referring to the Andersons.

"It's in Wilson, about an hour east of here. Their local priest is suppose to come and pick us up."

They waited outside arrivals for a few minutes when a beige Chevy pulled up and a man wearing a Roman collar rolled down the window, "are you the Warrens?"

"Yes Father we are," Ed responded smiling.

"Great I can help you with your bags." He put the car in park and got out.

"I'm Father Martin," he put out his hand for a shake.

"Please to meet you, I'm Ed Warren, this is my wife Lorraine and our assistant Drew."

"How do you do." He smiled and shook both of their hands, "let me help you with your bags."

He helped load them into the trunk and then got into the drivers seat, Drew road shotgun while Ed and Lorraine sat in the back.

"How was your flight?" He asked.

"It was fine," Ed answered, "Relatively short which was nice." Father Martin nodded.

"I assume with the field you're in Mr Warren you can find yourself flying around a lot."

"Yes we've travelled to a lot of places for cases." Ed replied.

"Remind me where you live again?" The priest asked.

"We live in Monroe Connecticut, it's a little north of Bridgeport."

"I see. Got any kids?" He asked.

"Yes we've got a daughter, Judy." Ed spoke with a smile.

"Wonderful, wonderful."

"And does you're wife normally come with you on cases?"

Ed glanced and Lorraine who had a annoyed look on her face, "um yes, I don't know why she wouldn't."

Drew glanced back at them and also gave a 'what is up with this guy' kind of expression. "Oh I just assumed with the dangerous field you're in and you're daughter back at home you wouldn't let her come."
