[First Meeting] -

You were a new chef at Wangshu Inn , with Chef Smiley Yanxiao as your mentor. "And that's how you make a perfect golden crab." He said , as he set the platter in front of you.
Smiley Yanxiao has been teaching you cooking recipes ever since you started working there. Which you didn't need, as you memorized the recipes for centuries.
"This is excellent? It tastes bland.." you criticized his dish before you went to go grab a small bag from your side-purse. In it was some kind of seasoning , which you lightly sprinkled it over the golden crab before handing it to Smiley Yanxiao to taste. "This is ... Outstanding! Truly magnificent!" He exclaimed, praising your adjustment to food.
While he was busy doing whatever he was doing, you heard someone above you on the top balcony , thanks to your excellent hearing.
You debated leaving Chef Smiley Yanxiao alone but at the same time you didn't want to deal with him so you took the opportunity to leave.
You stepped up the stairs of the fine establishment , until you reached your destination to see a short dusty dark green haired male. "Hello, who are you?" You said as you slowly walked towards him , which he disappeared when you got in arms length with him. "Rude." You rolled your eyes before you just stood there, waiting for him to come back.
This happened regularly as you'd always visit with gourmet food, hoping he'd eat it. Lining up the plates of almond tofu once you've found out he only ate that dish." Hey! Got some almond tofu for you today! Either you show yourself or I will dump this in the river." You hovered the dish over the river below, no one was there to stop you so you tilted the bowl even more making it fall before another hand took it.
"Lovely to meet you at last, Adeputus Xiao."
"Y/n l/n.." he muttered.
"Is that anyway to say hi to an old friend? I thought you'd be a lot more expressive."
"We were never friends to begin with."
"That's not what the 76 other bowls of almond tofu said." You chuckled as he turned away , mumbling.

"Shut up."

[When he realized he loves you]-
He was in de-nile (I'm hilarious ik 😎)about his feelings for you all until the help of the traveler and Mr.Zhongli made him aware.

"So Xiao, I've realized that you seem really close with that chef y/n. Why's that?" Paimon asked, floating beside the traveler."Do you like her/him/them?"
Xiao scoffed," Foolish. I'd think twice before you suggest anything."
Paimon crossed her arms. " Now Im leaving Traveler." Xiao finally said as he vanished like the mist.
Not even a week later, he was then visited by Mr.Zhongli .
"You called Morax- Mr.Zhongli." Xiao bowed. "Please join me."
Xiao looked up to see Zhongli sitting at a stone table with tea and almond tofu .
"What is it that you called me here for?" Xiao asked as he hesitantly sat down. "I'd come to talk to you about love and romance-"
Xiao was forced to listen to Zhongli talk about the subject of love. He was bored but listened. As this chat was going through, Zhongli specifically went through the details of what someone feels. Zhongli was slowly hinting towards Xiao's behavior when he's near y/n.
After hard convincing & a LOT of explaining, Xiao realized. He fully realized that he caught feelings for you.

[Confession] -
"Y/n..."
"Yeah Shortie?"
"... Nevermind"
Xiao was fixing to leave when he felt the eyes of ganyu, hu Tao, and the traveler from behind.
"Uh- I wanted to ask if you wanted to join me in the Lantern Rite.."
"Are you asking me on a date Shortie?"
Xiao nodded before he felt the warm embrace of his friend.
"I'd gladly go with you."
You let him go before you kissed his cheek and disappeared.

when you get injured he'd basically call you pathetic and you beat the sh!t out a the enemy before you chase him down.

Hu Tao kidnapping you both as she basically makes a weird wedding
The both of you chasing a passed out ganyu
Childe flirting with you and Xiao fixing to kill him

Angst-

You get sent back to the world of adupti because of a several wound
Xiao finally lets karmic debt take him as he dies in your arms in battle.
You become one of his burdens as he loses you.

So I'ma take a break cause my school finals are next week and I need to study hard and entirely understand the subject I'm learning rn so I will take a break for those reasons.
