Trianna had a consistent routine throughout her entire time at the foundation. She would wake up at 6am, meet in the squad room, train, and go on any missions she was assigned. Over the years she's been in multiple squads, each one being destroyed after a disastrous mission. But the mindless routine ended after she was promoted to Alpha Strike. It probably wasn't the promotion that did it, it was who she was promoted with. This isn't to say that she still didn't have a routine, but it was a soulless repeat as it was before. Trianna strapped and attached a various amount of tactical gear to her uniform.

Lara tightened her string bow, many had teased that she only wore one outfit everyday. It being much more comfortable than the uniforms of her squad mates. Her mind specifically on one of her squad mates. Cory was acting rather strange last night. Nothing happened during the Everest mission to cause such behavior, she would know because she had listened in nearly the entire time. He never had brought up anything to do with family until last night. With the benefit of hindsight, him watching Bobble the Clown should have been a bigger red flag. No theorizing could determine what kind of family Cory had, it was something to bring up later.

Hooper always got ready before the set time for any MTF day shift does. Usually getting in extra training during that time. His dedication to the foundation and his job were unrivaled. Anything he could do to increase his performance would happen. Hooper's governing ideology was loyalty above all else. The foundation is loyal to him, so he reciprocates. The same goes to his squad, although he knows that his squad mates aren't as trusting towards foundation authority. Cory specifically isn't as trusting towards the foundation. He doesn't fully understand the necessity for the containment of SCPs. Hooper had always had a strange feeling about Cory, but he thinks it's simply because he hasn't met someone nearly as innocent or childish as Cory still alive.

After his encounter with Otis, Cory had attempted to sleep. Even though he didn't need it, there was still enjoyment to it. He didn't have to act immediately to prevent Otis from marking him as an SCP. He had a few weeks and wants to enjoy his time without preventing his family from ending the world. Thankfully, sleep had reached him. But he didn't go back to the barracks to sleep. He feel asleep in his squad's room.

Normally, everyone would be arrive to the squad room at similar times. Besides Cory of course, he's been so consistently late that they've begun to tell him that things start 30 minutes earlier than they actually do. So it was to Hooper's surprise to find Cory fully dressed asleep on a chair. Lara arrived shortly after he noticed, when she noticed she let out a slightly annoyed sigh. "I guess he did keep his word." She muttered under her breath. She walked up and softly shook Cory. He didn't react. Lara sighed again, she hoped it was a light sleep. The best thing to do was wait for Trianna to come and wake him up.

Trianna walked in to find everyone waiting for her. Lara working at her computer, Hooper dismantling and cleaning an assault rifle, and Cory looking dead passed out in a chair. Trainna's eyebrows furrowed, "How long has he been sleeping?" "Since before we got here." Hooper replied, oiling his gun parts. "He was here at like 1 AM while I was filling out my reports, I think he just fell asleep in that chair." Lara chimed in, swiveling her chair around and getting up. She walked toward Trianna with two cups in her hand, she hands one over "He's sleeping deep." Trianna grasps the cup, the liquid's heat radiating to her hand. She placed the cup down on the table and leaves the room. A short time later, she walks back into the room with a wet rag. She walked up with the cold rag in her hand and placed it on the back of Cory's exposed neck. His lense shot open and he leeped out of his chair.

"You didn't need to put a freezing rag on my neck to wake me up." Cory whined. "You were as dead as a log, the only other thing I could think of to wake you up is a tazer." Lara joked. The conversation was interrupted by a screen coming to life. A familiar but older voice followed, one of the general. "Alpha Strike, you have a mission."
