The air is filled with screams, their echoes enveloping me in an eerie symphony of distress. Confusion grips me as I awaken, my body soaked in sweat, heart pounding with fear.

As I struggle to make sense of the situation, I gasp, my eyes snapping open to the darkness around me. Despite the awakening, the haunting echoes of agony persist, refusing to release their hold on my senses.

With cautious steps, I ventured into the corridor, drawn toward the source of the unsettling clamor. Each footfall was deliberate, my senses heightened as I approached the disturbance.

As I advanced, my foot unexpectedly sank into a puddle. Puddle? That's peculiar, I mused, squinting to discern the nature of the substance enveloping my foot.

Blood... a substantial amount of it, yet I feel no pain.

It's not my blood.

I gasp, racing toward the cries, fearing I might be too late to save them. The scent of death grows stronger with each step, intensifying my sense of urgency.

I paused in my stride, finding myself behind the murderer whose aura exuded poison, a taint that felt oddly familiar.

Surveying the room, I could discern the contorted forms of my family members, their lifeless eyes staring into nothingness, their skin as pale as freshly fallen snow.

As the man sensed my presence, he turned to look at me, his expression shifting from surprise to something more intense, something filled with passion.

As he approached me, I instinctively took a step back, feeling a mix of fear and uncertainty.

"You're awake...sooner than I expected," he whispers with a calm demeanor. I shiver at his tone, wondering what could have happened to me if I hadn't woken up.

As he approaches, his eyes shine red like the blood on his clothes, and I instinctively step back. His hand reaches out, brushing against my cheeks and leaving them stained with the crimson liquid.

I stood frozen, like a statue, not daring to move an inch out of fear of what he might do to me.

With a cruel grin, he twisted his lips as he roughly grasped my arm, causing me to flinch from the pain and the sensation of his nails piercing my skin.

He draws closer, his warm breath tickling my ear as his nails sink deeper into my skin. Tears well up in my eyes as I attempt to push him away, but my efforts prove futile.

"Let. Go!"

Ignoring my pleas, he persisted in his actions, tightening his grip with each passing moment.

A sharp intake of breath escapes me as I feel something coursing through my veins, intensifying the pain to unbearable levels.

He chuckles maniacally as I pound his body with my fists as fiercely as I can muster.

It seems to have worked since he stops stabbing my arm and pushes me away, clicking his tongue in agitation as he gazes out the window at the rising sun.

I clutch my injured hand tightly to staunch the bleeding, my gaze fixated on his departing form.

"I'll be back for you..."

And just like that, he vanishes, leaving me with a wounded arm and a room filled with lifeless bodies.
