Jesse, Hank, Charles and Logan return to the house as they come staggering through the front door as suddenly Charles struggles to walk, his legs feeling weak.

"What's happening, why can't he walk?" Logan asked, holding Charles and softly placing him on the bottom of the stairs.

"He needs his treatment, I'll go get it." Hank said, rushing up the stairs, leaving Jesse and Logan with Charles.

"I should have known anything with Erik would end in ruin..." Charles said.

"It's not over yet. I'm still here, we can still save Raven, save all of us." Logan said, kneeling down in front of Charles. "But we're gonna need all our powers to do that. All of them. And that means the power to find her, read her mind, and stop it, if we have to. Powers only you have... or used to have."

It was silence as Hank returns with the serum. "There's a little extra, because you missed your dose." He said, holding them out for Charles.

Charles looked at it, turning his head to Logan. "Hold onto it, Hank." He said, as he saw the confusion on Hank's face. "Do me a favour, would you. Go upstairs to my office, go into the closet there..."

Hank looked at him, and realizes what he's asking. "Are you... sure?"

Charles hesitated slightly. "Absolutely not. Please fetch it for me, before I change my mind."

Logan looked at him, a small smile on his lips as he helped Charles stands up.

"Welcome, Professor." The voice said as the doors slide open.

Charles leads Jesse, Hank and Logan into the Cerebro. He can see dust on them after years of not using them. Charles goes to the helmet, which has a few more wires on it. He blows off the dust.

"When's the last time you were down here?" Logan asked, looking around the Cerebro.

"The last time we went looking for students." Hank said.

"Long time ago." Charles said as he looks at the helmet with a hint of trepidation. "Not sure I'll be able to control it the way I used to..." He said, slowly putting on the helmet.

Hank goes to the control panels, flips on the system.

Charles tries to focus his power, his eyes narrowed, and Geiger needles start to flutter, just a tiny fluctuation. He increases his efforts, taking a deep breaths, trying to focus, and the needles rise.

Images flicker around Charles, flashes of faces, out of focus, twisting in the air, and the Geigers shake, as Charles struggles, too much data. Geigers start to go out of control, everything shaking.

"Charles–" Logan starts to say when the gauges blow out, glass goes flying everywhere.

"Turn it off!" Charles exclaimed, face cringing.

Hank goes to turn off the system, but Logan stops him.

"Keep it on, Hank. Charles, focus." Logan muttered.

Charles tries to focus, but struggles, strains, and the whole system dies, all the power goes dark.

Charles slumps over as Jesse and Hank looked around.
