Gate: As the Ascendant Humanity Purify There

Imperium Ascendant

The Ascendant Imperium, Otherwise known as the Imperium of man a mighty bastion of humanity with a history dating back to uncountable millennias. War, blood, and genocides were not uncommon within the imperium with the most recent example being the purging of Ultramar dating over 10 millennia ago. it was a dark time for the imperium costing the lives of billions and the primordial annihilator making a desperate last stand against the emperor's forces, all 20 legions of the time, millions of imperial army regiments, and hundreds of thousands of ships of the imperial armada was sent to cleanse the realms of Ultramar, the last bastion of chaos. it is there the emperor truly Ascends into a being more significant than the gods and strikes them down shattering them and cleansing the warp of their taint returning immaterium back into the realm of souls, or at least something resembling it becoming the light of both the immaterium and the materium realms. But now is not the time to reminiscence a time that passed. It is a time of celebration, a Celebration that is long overdue, a celebration of the defeat of chaos, the emperor's ascension, the lighting of the Astronomicon, and the Primarchs name day. The Entire surface of Terra is a celebration of some sort, every family, Nobles, upper-class, and even Normal laborers and citizens feast for their victories over the primordial annihilator. But Conflict always finds humanity. even when we are not actively searching for it. In the main streets of the Imperial Palace, a massive Parade is being Celebrated, The Emperor, sat upon a massive throne of gold, flanked by his 20 sons as they are carried by decorated vehicles, Hundreds of Lucifer Blacks army regiments marching in positions, followed by the first companies of each 20 Legions marching in their Catapractii pattern Terminator armor

The vehicle that the emperor Rode upon is flanked by several Dozens of the emperor's own companions the Adeptus Custodis. It was a magnificent day of cheers and joy Until a gate-like structure suddenly appeared on the parade Path blocking the way. It was a massive Warp gate, and without warning a massive army of daemonnattes suddenly appeared from the Gate and began attacking the civilians and soldiers in the parade. It only took less than a second to turn a massive celebration into a defensive skirmish in order to protect the emperor and his sons. In a blink of an eye, the Lucifer blacks took defensive positions in front of the invading Deamon army, las bolts firing and smashing into its targets with unnatural accuracy but something isn't right. these daemonnattes... are a lot weaker than what the Blacks are used to... usually, it required a constant barrage of lasers even these upgraded ones to take down even one daemon. but these ones could only take one blast before collapsing to their deaths, these are not daemons at all, they are mutants, corrupted by some unknown forces, which explains their human-like appearances.

This was a huge mistake, When the demon lord opens the gate we expect exploration, Adventure, and husbands for all of us except we are met with deaths and destruction, when we first walk through the gate, or for some of us flew through we are met with beautiful scenery of a giant building made out of pure gold and white marbles, with massive golden statues decorated its surroundings, we could make out humans and lots of them standing on balconies and besides the massive paved road, the road was elevated top massive golden pillars and are those... giant walking Knights!? Snapping out of our shocked state we begin our exploring and claiming a man for ourselves only that was not what happened. An army wearing black armor begins attacking us with magic staff firing bright yellow beams that tore off limbs and disfiguring bodies. Not to mention the golden statues suddenly move proving they are not statues at all but soldiers more likely guards for this massive golden palace. Thousands of us died in mere minutes so we began to retreat back to the gate. But we saw something, a being that is probably what these humans were guarding. a Living golden god surrounded by 20 other gods. I can only catch a small glimpse of this god before I retreated back through the gate,

I told the stories of what we saw on the other side of the gate. of course, no one believed us. but we know what we saw what I saw. and we must Repent, for we have angered him, and he will come, with only a fraction of the might of his armies even so we will all be destroyed if we did not repent for our sins against humanity.

I know I promised longer chapters but this is just a prologue. and I promised that future chapters will have at the minimum a thousand words don't worry some ideas that were put in the older version will be put in this newer version I hope all of you will enjoy this short prologue and happy reading :)  )
