Tried a different style on this... YES IT SUCKS BUT I JUST WANTED TO POST SOMETHING SINCE I HAVEN'T POST SOMETHING FOR 1 MONTH.

Jay had concealed his sexuality from everyone except Jungwon, who was his best friend. They met in middle school, and since then, they have shared a bond that no one could ever understand. Jungwon was aware of his sexual orientation and had supported him throughout his journey.

Jay had feelings for Jungwon, but he never disclosed that to him. He was scared that he would lose him as his friend if he came out to him. He decided to keep his feelings hidden, and it led to him feeling more and more depressed as he became more and more desperate for love.

On the other hand, Jungwon had fallen for another guy he met at college. He didn't tell Jay about his feelings, although he knew that it would hurt him. Jungwon started dating the guy he met at college, and it was tough for Jay to see him with someone else.

Jay didn't give up though, he tried spending more time with Jungwon. Whether it was going out for dinner or going to the club and getting wasted. Only to find out that Jungwon's boyfriend cut all contacts Jungwon had with Jay

" Stay away from Jungwon. He is mine. I don't fucking care that you love him or not, he chose me. And he belongs to me only. " was what his boyfriend said.

He was heartbroken, and he felt like he had lost the only person who knew the real him. He was devastated and didn't know how to handle his emotions. He tried to distance himself from people, but it was no use. The more he isolated himself, the worse the pain felt. He wasn't able to forget about the close bond they once shared.
Years went by, and Jungwon's relationship didn't last because of his boyfriend's possessive behaviour. He came back to Jay and tried to rekindle their friendship, but it wasn't the same anymore.

Jay was still hopeless, finding his true love now that he knew Jungwon wasn't the one. While Jungwon...

He was probably traumatised. Flashbacks from the night he saw his ex boyfriend with a girl having sex haunted him for months, mental breakdowns was an uncommon occurrence.

Jay had changed, and so had Jungwon. The bond that they once shared had been broken, and a broken friendship will never be the same.

Jungwon's mental state got worse. It got so worse he eventually moved away, and they lost contact. It was back to step 1, Jay thought. No contacts. No calls. Waiting to hear his best friend's voice was like chasing a cloud, it wasn't possible.

Jay soon realized that it was better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. He did cherish the memories that he had shared with Jungwon, but at the same time, not all memories have a happy ending. At least not this one.

  " I never stood a chance, did I...? "
