Part 12: umbara (part 2)

POV tiger

Grizzly and I put y/n whos sweating profusely down on the dirt as we take out our blasters and rush from behind the tree and towards the cover of a giant fallen branch

Grizzly: we don't have the man power to take these things out!

Tiger: don't say that grizzly im sure crow... never mind

I pop up from the cover shooting two of the umbarans in the heads while grizzly dies the same using his rotary blaster to lay cover fire as pink drags grapeshot to cover

Grizzly: GET AWAY FROM OUR MEN YOU BASTAREDS!!!

Fire starts to focus on us as soon as he shouts that so we duck back into cover

Tiger: they are definitely focused on us now

POV y/n

I look up at the setting sun with a smile on my face. The warmth of the yellow sun contrasts against the blue and orange sky which has nice fluffy white clouds speckled through out the sky it's a beautiful sky, it's warm, colourful and soothing

Ahsoka: what you looking at

I look up at my beautiful girlfriend and chuckle as she looks just like the sky

Y/n: well I was looking at the sky which I thought was beautiful but now I see what true beauty is

She laughs at my comment as she takes a seat beside me while interlocking my fingers with hers

Ahsoka: oh shut it you aren't smooth

Y/n: not usually but every now again I can put my thoughts where my mouth is

Ahsoka: y/n that made no sense

She says laughing at my attempt to be smooth

Y/n: can't always strike gold can I

Ashoka: no you can't

I look up at the setting sun for a few seconds before I feel ahsoka's grasp of my hand tighten drastically feel like my hand is about to be crushed and my bones and snapping

Y/n: ahsoka are you ok?

Ahsoka: you're a sith!

I look over to her to see she has white glossy eyes and orangey grey skin replacing her vibrant orange skin

Ahsoka: we will fight and you will kill me!

Y/n: no no we won't fight I will never hurt you

She looks me dead in the eyes as I see her face start to peel off in chunks making me recoil in fear but she holds firm on my hand

Ahsoka: you have nothing to fear after all you caused this

She pushes me back making me fall against the floor with a thud slowing her to climb onto of me as her face continues to fall off in chunks

Ahsoka: you killed me y/n like you killed crow

I shake my head as I see bugs start to crawl out of her mouth making me look away but Ahsoka forces my head to look at her

Ahsoka: you deserve to watch me die

I watch as bugs start to crawl out her ears and eyes eating away at whatever remains of her face until the bottom half is almost completely bone with small chunks hanging off of strings

POV tiger

The umbarans start to retreat but we continue to fire until they are all completely out of sight

Tiger: damnit we had heavy casualties... hope the commander is ok

Grizzly: of course the commander is ok he in the backlines like a coward
