Chapter 13 - Recall X Past

"I don't recall having any other friends besides Coco and Gon." M/n spoke.

"Well, we were young when we met! And you ran away before I was able to make an impression on you." He nervously chuckled.

M/n sighed, "Whatever." He muttered, giving in to the blonde but not lowering his guard.

"But I just can't understand it. What would my life, and my father's condition pertain to you." The male asked, Coco glaring from the side.

"Well, your father is a crafty man. Even your childhood is filled with so much mystery. Other than wanting to kill him because of what he's done to you as a child, I want to kill him because he killed my mom after she refused to date him." He said with a disgusted gaze.

"He did what?"

Kouki chuckled, "That bastard was trying to romance my married mother while he was a married man himself. After she turned him down, he killed her."

"Well..." M/n muttered. He was in complete shock about what he heard. He always thought that his father's deeds were just family affairs, but it turns out he ruined other people's lives too.

"You said something about my childhood being filled with mystery. What does that mean?"

"Well, have you ever noticed that the dad you killed on mistake looked nothing like you? He wasn't close to matching your features. Have you also noticed your mother's replacement?"

"What...the hell are you talking about?"

"I'll list it out in order so you can understand. First, let me start off by saying that your father never loved your mother. He only used her to make children that would possess both forms of the Sin Eyes. There were a few other babies before you, but they failed to meet his expectations, so he killed them." Kouki said. The last half of that information actually really surprised M/n. He used to have older siblings, but since they didn't reach his expectations, he killed them..,

"He framed the deaths to be an accident, and your mother blindingly believed him out of love. Then after one more try, you were born. You possessed both forms of the Sin Eyes, and your father left without notice, which left your mother to care for you. However, things took a weird turn when your father returned with another man. He made some deal with your mother, and that man your father came with became your new father. He turned out to be as bad as your biological father, abusing you everyday."

'So the man I turned into dust...wasn't my real dad? I wanted to believe that bandit that killed Coco was lying, but, he's really alive?!'

"Next, is that time when your powers went haywire, and you destroyed your house with the power of the Despair Eyes. That was the day you killed your biological mother. You were in a?coma, and the abusive man you thought was your father received a co-worker from your biological father. The co-worker was a female, and they took the role of your mother. She seemed very close to your fatherly imposter. I still wonder if they were lovers. Lastly, when your Despair power spiked again, and you killed the abusive father on mistake. Since he and the female co-worker were close, she became filled with rage at his unfortunate death. Now, she hunts after you, and your biological father is still out there somewhere. Acting like he wasn't the cause of none of this."

"How...How the hell do you know all of this?"

"I've been smart all my life. I've exceeded the expectations of many, and found ways to get information from other sources. And if you trust me, I might be able to help you find where your father must be hiding." Kouki held out his hand for M/n to take, but he saw that the h/c haired male was hesitant.

Kouki frowned, "Okay. You don't have to trust me. But I promise that I'll help you bring your father to his knees."

M/n shared a glance at Coco, who shrugged at the h/c haired male.
