Isabella Garcia-Shapiro watched from the window as he brother sat on their side porch reading some magazine. Although on second thought he may have just been looking at the pictures of skimming the words since he was turning the pages so quickly.

After a moment the boy turned his head and noticed Isabella. He frowned and stood up before walking down the driveway and out of Isabella's view.

She had been trying so hard to get to know her brother but that didn't seem to be working. He just sat in his room all day with the door locked, doing his best to avoid her and the family. Although he did come out if it would benefit him.

Isabella walked to the door and opened it before looking down the way her half brother had gone. He was now sitting on the curb reading his magazine.

She had to admit she had expected their relationship to be much more like Phineas and Ferb than what they had now. She had always wanted a sibling and now that she had one he wanted nothing to do with her.

Isabella let out a sad sigh before walking down the driveway. She walked past her brother, he ignored her as she did so and then crossed the street.

Once she was across Isabella knocked on Phineas and Ferb's door. She waited patiently before the door was opened to reveal their sister Candace. "Oh, hi Isabella. Phineas is in the back... like he and Ferb always are. As you should know by this point"

"I'm not here for them" Isabella replied causing Candace to give a confused look

"I'm not here for them" Isabella replied causing Candace to give a confused look. "I need your help"

"Oh? Okay what do you need?" Candace asked as she crossed her arms confidently as a smile spread across her face.

"How do I get a boy your age to like me?"

Candace stared at Isabella for a moment before responding with a question of her own. "I thought you liked Phineas? And trust me any boy my age that would date someone prepubescent is not someone you'd ever want to go out with"

"I- that's not what I meant" Isabella shook her head quickly. "I mean my brother. He hates me"

"Oh yeah, Phineas told me about him. I'm sure he doesn't hate you" Candace replied as she waved it off. "Is that him?" She asked as he eyes landed on the boy sitting on the curb in front of Isabella's house.

"Yeah" Isabella glanced back behind her before looking at Candace again.

"Is he reading Disco Golf Magazine? You know no matter how hard I try I can never figure out how Phineas and Ferb managed to get Stacy on the cover last summer"

"Can we get back to you helping me?" Isabella asked with a frown. "I've been trying to get closer to him since he moved in"

"That was only yesterday" Candace replied. "Did you expect this to be an instant thing?"

"Kinda? I thought we'd be more Phineas and Ferb" Isabella shrugged.

"Well those two met when they were little" Candace replied. "It's not like one of them was a moody looking teenager" she glanced at Isabella's brother again. "My advice would probably be to just keep trying. That or just give up and wait for him to go off to college"

"Great" Isabella said sarcastically. "That definitely helps" she turned around and was about to walk away when she noticed (y/n) had looked up from his magazine and was now talking to Phineas and Ferb, although he didn't look to happy about it until they said something which quickly changed that. He stood up and followed them across the street as he closed his magazine. "What did they say to him?"

"Beats me" Candace replied as exited the house, she closed the door and the two girls followed the boys towards the backyard.

"Woah! You weren't kidding" Isabella heard her brother laugh with excitement for the first time before she and Candace quickly entered the backyard to see (y/n) holding Perry with a smile. His magazine forgotten and on the ground. "Who has a platypus for a pet? This is so cool. I love him!"

Perry just lay there against the boys chest as he was pet

Perry just lay there against the boys chest as he was pet. He was obviously enjoying the attention.

"I'm gonna come see you every day" (y/n) smiled down at the animal causing him to make a strange platypus noise.

"He likes you" Phineas said with a smile.

"And I like him too" (y/n) replied with a smile of his own.

Isabella huffed as Candice just pat her on the back comfortingly. "Wow. You have two boys in your life who pay you no attention and absolutely love Perry"

Isabella face palmed exasperatedly as she turned around and left the backyard.

Candace walked inside through the backdoor and closed the door behind her. "MOOOOM, PHINEAS AND FERB ARE STEALING THE ATTENTION OF ISABELLA'S BROTHER!" These words were muffled so nobody outside paid them much attention.

"You two are now officially my favorite humans in this town" (y/n) said as he looked up from Perry and over to the two brothers.

Ferb nodded thankfully.

"Well that's nice and all but I think that title should be saved for your sister" Phineas replied as he took Perry back and scratched under his bill causing him to make more platypus noises.

"Mm" (y/n) shrugged as he leaned back against the tree of the yard. "We'll see"

Phineas and Ferb glanced at each other before Phineas spoke again. "Why don't you like her?"

(Y/n) considered what to say before deciding on honesty. There was no point in not being honest. "It's not a rational reason I know but I'm jealous of her" he shrugged causing the two younger boys to give confused looks. "I had a dad until I was two and then I never saw him again, it doesn't even feel like he ever really thought about me. I also had a bad mom who I don't have a single good memory with. Isabella on the other hand had my dad, a nice mom, and a lot of friends. She has everything I ever wanted when I was her age"

Ferb nodded. "From a psychological point of view that actually makes perfect sense"

"He's right" Phineas agreed. "But you do realize by now that you won't feel better until you've gotten over this right?"

"That's debatable" (y/n) crossed his arms. "Hey, where's Perry?"

Phineas and Ferb quickly looked at where Perry had previously sat in Phineas' arms only to see he was gone. They then looked back to where (y/n) had been only to see he was gone now too.
