Throughout the class you shot cold stares at Macy. The audacity of her to take the seat you're not sitting in. Your seat. Your anger quickly resided as you remembered your plan.
"Step one: fudge the truth" and this might have been the perfect opportunity. You took your phone out of your pocket swiftly and opened the camera app. A few quick pictures would be all you need. Making sure to be as discreet as possible you took about 4 pictures. Perfect. The pictures were at the perfect angle where you could see her face clear enough but not the boys surrounding her. They had nothing to do with this, there was no reason to drag them down with Macy.
After scrolling through the pictures, you sent them to one of your "friends" a.k.a the head of your school's drama page. The page she ran was a breeding ground of drama and pettiness, and it reflected her perfectly along with the pictures you sent and a text explaining exactly what you wanted to happen.

"It's finally coming together" You whispered a bit too loudly. "Something you'd like to share with the class Miss y/l/n?" Said the teacher loudly, abruptly stopping your train of thought. "Nothing that you'd want to hear," You said with a cold glare. "Well, id never speak back to my teachers like that. This generation *tsk*, so disrespectful." She said with a huff of her breath. "That just cause you were too scared your teachers would feed you to the dinosaurs," you said raising your voice and flashing her a sneer. She stared at you, face going red and her lips scrunching. "Office. Now." She spoke, sounding as though she was holding back a yell. You picked your things up and left the room quietly, not looking back in fear of others yelling even more.
As you made your slow journey to the office, you thought about what happened. This was the first time that you had been sent out of a classroom. You've never spoken to an adult like that. But this new sense of pride, it felt good. Almost too good. As you smiled to yourself, thinking about how cool you probably sounded to all your classmates, your phone buzzed. Snapping out of your ditzy daydream you unlocked your phone. You saw a message, from "Da Boys". It was the main group chat for Tyler, Joshua, Marii, and Tyler. And you, of course, just added you in late cause they forgot. It's so like them to forget something like that.
Marii 👑:
Didn't know y/n was cold like that
Ty:
Fr
I pictured you to be more of a goodie two shoes
Unknown Number:
wyrm?
she has always been like that
You stared at your phone smiling until you read that last text. "Unknown number?" You mumbled to yourself. That can't be right, who else could they have added to the group chat? There were no more new students since... No. No, no, no, no, that can't be right. They wouldn't do that to you. They wouldn't betray you by bringing her into the group chat. Would they? Your hands began to shake and your palms got sweaty at just the thought of her being in the group chat. As you reached closer to the office's door you typed slowly.
You pressed send as you opened the office door.
"Hello," said the lady at the front desk. "Hi," you said looking at her as you tucked your phone into your pocket. There was a bit of an awkward silence before it was broken by the lady at the front desk. "So... what are you here for?" asked the lady. "Oh well, my teacher told me to go come down here" you responded. "Why?" She asked with a face of curiosity. "My attitude I guess," you said with a shrug. "And you came?" She said with a dumbfounded look. "I think so..." you said looking at your legs and arms as if to make sure you were there. When you looked back up at her you immediately recognized her change in expression. Her glare turned cold as she said "Just sit down I suppose" She nodded her head over to a corner. You said "Thank you" as you turned to go sit down.
You stopped in your tracks as you saw the tiny plastic chair sitting in the corner. It was covered in crayon marks and stickers with chunks taken out of it. You looked around the room to find any other suitable seating. Thankfully in the opposite corner, there was a more mature-looking chair. You began walking over towards that chair when you heard a cold voice.
"Excuse me," You turned around to find the source of the voice. "Yes?" You questioned. "Those chairs are for guests only." The now smug look on her face made your blood boil. "Ok," you said trying to pull on a smile, hiding your emotions. You turned around yet again and made your way to the small chair.
You sat down and put your bag down next to you. There wasnt much to do since you had gotten kicked out of your first-period class and generally stayed on top of your work. Might as well get on my phone. Nothing else to do.
You opened your phone, and seeing another notification in the group chat. There was a good chance it would be a response to your previous question. Was it her? Macy? Well no point in holding it off, might as well get it over with. You opened the message and your stomach dropped.
Sorry, this chapter took so long to get published. I'm thinking about dropping this story but 400+ views are pretty encouraging so I might not. Until next time!
