Izogie's Twinflame

Conflict

Izogie woke up and started getting ready, slipping on her battle clothes. Today they would go out for a battle, they would be gone for a couple days. Amenza, Solana, Nawi, and some others would stay. Amenza and Solana were in charge of preparing the women for future battles. Izogie was eating a snack downstairs when she heard solanas soft steps.

"Shouldn't you be gone by now?"

" Ready to get rid of me so soon?"

" Not particularly" solana said laughing

Izogie chuckled shaking her head, "Im about to head out, dont miss me too much", she said getting up heading to the door.

Before Izogie could open the door, Solana grabbed her hand pulling her to her. Her hands cupped her cheeks as she kissed her softly. Izogies hands went around her waist pulling her closer. They slowly pulled away, staying in their embrace.

" Be safe Izogie"

" Always love"

Izogie kissed her again before leaving. Solana let out a sigh, it would be a long couple days.

*fast forward*

Solana waited anxiously next to Amenza watching the women train.

"Solana, breathe. They are coming." Amenza said trying to calm her nerves.

Solana nodded taking in a deep breath. These past couple days had been bearable . Nawi had been making her liking to Izogie more obvious and had been trying to intimidate Solana. Training the women had been going okay, but they still werent battle ready. Solana had been going extra hard during training. She even returned to her hut to get her things, she only had a couple items there that she needed to retrieve. She'd save it for later though. A bell sounded and the gates slowly opened to show the Agojie walking in. Most if not all still covered in blood. Some of the women injured or badly hurt, everyone going in different ways to help or clean up. Solanas eyes found Izogies and she quickly made her way over. Grabbing her arm she turned her around checking for wounds of any kind. She found a gash on her side and a cut on her arm. Solana sighed before dragging her back to their house to clean her up. Izogie didnt try to resist. She just admired the woman's curves as they walked in the house.

" Go bathe,Ill clean and wrap your wounds after."

Izogie nodded going to take a bath while,Solana went to grab the tools she needed. Once she was done and slipped on clothes. Solana soon came back, beginning to clean and wrap her wounds. When she was done she tried to get up when izogie pulled her into her lap. Kissing her neck, she took a deep breath.

" I said be safe"

" We are warriors, there is no safe. Plus, Ive had worst."

Solana rolled her eyes. She got up cleaning up the mess she made.

"Why are you mad , love?"

" Im not mad." Solana said roughly picking up trash and throwing it away

"Ehhh, I would say otherwise."

Solana sighed rubbing her forehead.

"Im not mad, I was just scared. I was scared you'd be hurt or worse."

"Im Izogie, you have nothing to worry about."

Solana nodded, " You should rest, I have to continue training."

" Nonsense ,Im coming too."

They both headed back the training area to find Nanisca and Amenza scolding the women.

"YOU HAVE TO FIGHT, YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING. THERE IS NO BREAKS DURING BATTLE!!"

Izogie and Solana joined the group of women who went to battle and helped bandage wounds and injuries.

That night Izogie went to bed early and Solana decided to return back to her hut to retrieve the last of her items.

It was a semi long walk there but Solana was used to it. Entering the hut, she looked around reminiscing on the many years she'd been there. Sighing she grabbed her knife, a picture, and a couple things she collected over the years. Making her way to the door, she heard footsteps coming from the back of the hut. Pulling out her knife she opened the front door and checked around the corner to see if she spotted anything. Sure enough there were men in black, some with red cloth. She also noticed they had guns, she'd fought men with them but this time she was unprepared. Two of the men approached her from one side and she quickly took them out barely making a noise. Unfortunately, one man came from the other side and shot her in the back. She winced in pain but quickly turned around to take him down as he struggled to reload. She heard one man yell out a roar to attack and Solana quickly booked it to the trees. The men still assuming she was at the hut, shot at it till they ran low on ammo. This was planned though, Solana slowed her running spotting a group of men from the same tribe waiting for her. Luckily they only had knifes, it wouldn't be too hard. Taking the men out she kept running, finding herself at a waterfall she would go to when she was bored. She was bleeding and had cuts on her arm and a gash on her leg. She felt her life slowly blink away as her eyes got heavy. She weakly layed behind a rock and passed out.

It was finally morning and Izogie got ready for training. Once she was done she headed to the training area. She figured Solana wanted to blow off steam and headed there earlier.

" Morning Izogie, wheres your girlfriend?" Amenza playfully greeted

" What do you mean, I thought she was here." Izogie said slightly confused

Amenzas eyebrows knitted together in confusion, " Go ask if anyones seen her and ill go ask the gaurds."

Izogie nodded, panic in her eyes soon being masked with no emotion.

" Heyy, she's probably off walking or something."

Izogie nodded going to ask the other women about her. Amenza talked to the gaurds and headed to Izogie.

" They say she left last night but said she should be back before morning."

" Well shes not, what if something happened or someone got her or-"

" Hey , we'll go talk to Nanisca and figure it out from there, okay? Solana can handle herself."

Izogie nodded fighting back tears, as they walked to nanisca filling her in.

Nanisca ordered a couple women to go to her hut and a couple others to check the perimeter. She also had Amenza make sure Izogie got rest and stayed level headed.

Izogie was pacing her living room while Amenza sat on the sofa watching her.

" I I I cant just stay here. What if shes hurt?"

" Izogie-"

" No, its been hourssss. I feel like I cant breathe or or or think or or focus. It feels like my heart is slowly breaking without her here." She stopped in front of Amenza letting the tears finally fall.

" Oh honey come here. We'll find her okay."

Izogie sat beside her friend crying into her chest as she tried to soothe her.

Hours turned into days. Izogie was the same izogie before just harsher to everyone on the outside. But behind closed doors to Amenza and Nanisca she was barely holding on. She barely slept, barely ate, and had been training non stop since.Nanisca got a tip from someone in town that it was an opposing group of men who Solana had come in contact with before. But it didnt give her a clue of where she could be.

That was until one night there was commotion coming from the gaurds.

" Hey, whats going on?" Nanisca questioned

" Theres a lion with a wounded woman. It brought her."

" Open the gates"

They did as told. There was Solana laying out in front of the lion that was sitting, waiting for the gates to open. When they did, it picked her up with its mouth carrying her to Naniscas feet. Nanisca was shocked but took in the state of her sister and quickly called people to help. Looking up she noticed, the lion walking away leaving the place and the gaurds closed the gates. She looked at the gun shot wound, cuts, and gash on her leg. She would raise hell when she finds out who did this, but only god could stop what Izogie would do when she found out.
