They quickly took solana to a medical room in the palace. As the women went to work to save her, Nanisca ran to Izogies house. Amenza and izogie were talking when Nanisca slightly bursted in.

"Shes here in the medical room. A lion brought her and and and she was shot with a gash on her leg." Her breathing was rapid so she tried to calm down.

Izogie broke down thanking god and praying she would pull through. All three women headed back, waiting outside the room for any news.

A couple hours later, the doctor emerged from the room. Izogie shot up waiting for the doctor to speak.

"She will be fine. It is undetermined when she'll wake up but, the bullet was safely removed."

They all let out a breath. Nanisca and Amenza said they'd head home and check on her tomorrow. Izogie decided to stay, walking in she took in solanas state. She looked weak and the cuts on her arms were sure to leave scars. Izogie sat in a chair,pulling it closer to the bed. She held her hand letting the tears fall and her head fall too.

Solana woke up to the sun blinding her eyes as it peaked through the blinds. She looked around, noticing she wasn't at the waterfalls anymore and her pain subsided. She looked to her right to see Izogie slumped in a chair and their hands connected. Softly rubbing her thumb across izogies knuckles, the warrior awoke jumping up to hug her.

" Oh my god, Im so glad your alive. Dont scare me like that, love." She kissed her lips roughly, missing her presence and touch.She kissed her as if she wouldn't get another chance. She pulled away and sat back down.

" It takes a lot more than a bullet and some men to stop me."

Izogies eyes went dark and she tensed a little. She was ready to cause hell on whoever hurt her.

" Men?"

" Yeah, they were wearing all black with some red cloth." She noticed Izogies chest began to rise and fall more, her breathing had increased, and her hands gripped the arm of the chairs so hard her nails began to leave marks in it.

Solana rubbed her hand, " Heyyy baby, Im right here. Im still alive." Izogie relaxed a little. Taking a deep breath, " Might I ask, how I got here? I remember running to the waterfalls before passing out."

" A lion brought you, which is quite odd."

Solana chuckled. Within the first year of living at her hut she found 5 cubs without their mother. She ended up raising them and they became her family. They lived near the waterfall with their mates and cubs but, they always welcomed solanas visits.

"Whats funny?"

" It must've been one of the cubs I raised."

Solana had enough of sitting in the bed and got up getting ready to head home.

" Woooah, where are you going?"

" Home, we have training."

" No, you need rest."

Solana scowled and agreed to rest but only if shes at home. Izogie agreed, carrying her all the way there.

" You know, Ive been on my own for years. A gunshot wound is nothing."

Izogie shrugged laying her in bed.

" You aren't alone anymore. You have me. Now, take the time to rest and heal. There are other warriors."

" Not like me" she mumbled

" You might be right but, they'll do."

Izogie climbed in bed with her. She kissed her before laying on her chest.

"The next time you decide to leave, im coming with you."

Solana sighed, "Izogie-"

" No, the pain I felt when I realized you were gone," tears formed in her eyes and her voice cramed a little, " I've never been that scared or worried in my life. It felt like my heart was being ripped out and I was losing it without you. I cannot lose you."

Solana felt tears fall on her chest and pulled Izogie closer. She kissed her forehead and consoled her until she heard her light snores.

Maybe they were in over their head. She would be causing more damage staying, everyone assumed Izogie would be the last to let feelings weaken her. Solana debated leaving, she could always come back. But, she loved Izogie and was falling for her hard.

She pushed her thoughts away and watched the warrior sleep. She wouldn't trade this for anything.

Nanisca knocked softly before entering the room.

" Sorry, I didnt mean to intrude. I'll leave."

" No, stay. Shes a heavy sleeper anyway."

Nanisca chuckled and looked at her sister.

" You know she got bad while you were gone. More snappy, barely eating, barely sleeping, and  training nearly 24/7. She loves you wether she admits it and you love her too. She has today off and you aren't allowed to train until your healed. Get better little sister."

Solana rolled her eyes playfully as Nanisca left. She loved training, this would be her hardest thing to do.
