Drunk Night

Izogie stumbled through the house making her way to Solana's room. She entered seeing Solana sitting up reading a journal of sorts. She quickly closed it putting on the nightstand taking in Izogie's current state.

Solana sighed, " What are you doing in here?"

" Why?"

Confusion spread across Solana's face.

" Why did you have to be that way, Why couldn't you recognize I only want you."

" Izog-" solana tried to say sitting on the edge of the bed

" My heart longs for you, love. Now what am I supposed to do without you. I can play tough and strong but I am dying without you."

Izogie made her way to Solana. Standing in front of her she looked in her eyes going over every feature on her face.

Solana stood up trying to get Izogie back in her room.

" Izogie come on, we're done. Remember?"

" Sit."

"Iz-"

"SIT and if I have to tell you again, trying to get me out your room will be the least of your worries."

Solana stood for a second, before sitting back down in front of Izogie. She knew she had alcohol, she could smell it on her. It had been a while since she talked or was even this close to her. To say she missed it, was an understatement.

"Solana tell me you don't want me."

Solana would be lying if she said it. But she didn't know if she could handle being with Izogie. She might've been one of the most feared women but she was also one of the most sought out women too. Solana has always been a confident person but she was very territorial. Thats not a good trait when the woman on your territory is a fellow warrior. She knew she would kill Nawi if it wasn't for her being a warrior. Plus she knew if she continued to fall for her, she could get hurt badly . What she didn't know was Izogie was the same. Both women were strong and had a tough act, too stubborn to break. The only difference was Izogie could make or break Solana's act.

"Izogie please just go to bed."

" Tell me you don't want me. Then I will leave and you wont have to worry about me anymore."

Izogie grabbed her neck firmly and placed a kiss on her lips.

" Say it, my love" she kissed her again, this time longer and focusing on her bottom lip

Solana knew she might regret it later but fuck it, "I can't and I won't"

Izogie licked her lips climbing on top of Solana, slowly stroking her face.

" Was that so hard to admit?"

Solana rolled her eye's moving her hands to her ass giving it a light squeeze.

"Don't get to excited, I'll have you knocked out till the morning." Izogie said standing

" We're still not together Izogie." she said seriously

"Mhmmm" she hummed kissing down her neck

Solana lightly pushed her off, " I mean it Izogie."

"Fine." Izogie was walking out the door before Solana stopped her

" WAIT, where are you going ?"

" You said we are not together, I will respect your wishes Solana. Im going to bed, in my room. Is that a problem warrior?"

Solana shook her head and Izogie walked to her room. She shut the door before crying softly. She loved her but she wanted to be with her as her woman. If she couldn't have her, she would learn to live without her. Or at least she'll try. She showered and went to sleep.

Solana on the other hand couldn't sleep. She wondered how things would continue. Even though she tried to mask it, she could see the hurt in Izogie's eyes. She didn't want to end things but, it would get too messy for everyone but mostly for her heart. She was scared of what the future could entail for them. She sighed as thoughts filled her mind and tried to get some sleep.
