As I walk back to my room I hear Wanda call to me. I stop and wait for her to catch up. As she approaches she gives me a smile. I return a small one and wave at her. She gets to me and says,
Hey, I think we should start working on your abilities and learning to control them. I know what it's like to not have full control and I want to help you."

"O..okay I think that's a good idea. I could feel myself losing it while I was sparring with Bucky. I want to an asset and not helpless or a hinderance to the team." You say quietly.

"Okay sweetie. We'll start tomorrow. Meet me on the lawn at your normal training time. We'll get a sense of what you can and can't control yet." Wanda smiles at you warmly. You smile back at her as she walks towards her room.

The next morning you wake up early. Excited at the prospect of finally letting go enough to use your bottled powers. You get dressed in a maroon sports bra and matching leggings and a pair of black nikes. You head towards the back door that leads to the expansive back lawn. A burnt ring from where Thor landed a week ago still filling back out with green grass. You find Wanda already out there and waiting for you. Walking up you say good morning. She smiles brightly at you and gives you a small hug. The physical contact, as always making you tense up.

You look to Wanda and ask, "what are we starting with first?"

"I think I want to see what your healing abilities can do. I want you to focus on the burnt grass and see if you can heal it." Wanda said quietly.

You turn and look at the large circle and focus on your breathing. You take the few steps to the center of the ring and place your hands in the burnt grass, letting your fingers feel the energy coming from the ground. You close your eyes and breathe twice before letting your powers out. You think of it like opening a clenched fist. Not so much as letting go but just relaxing a smidge. You feel the familiar warmth come from the core of your chest and travel down your hands. You open your eyes to see the grass regrowing. Not just the grass but new flowers and plants that weren't previously there before. Wanda steps back out of the ring as she watches you. The growth something she didn't expect. She smiles brightly at you and asks, "Can you reign it in and just focus on new grass?"

You hear her call to you and you nod once. Reeling your power back in a notch you finish the ring and smile up at her. You stand and look to her and ask, "Whats next?"

She grins at you and walks towards you. For the next few hours you learn the extent of you powers and how helpful or harmful they can be. Turns out, much like her, you deal in energy. And your powers have a wide range of possibilities. What you didn't notice is that the team had gathered on the lawn to watch you. You were so engrossed in learning your powers you didn't notice them. One of the things you learned was that you have a plasma blast, much like Tony's. You also could levitate and almost fly. But that took too much out of you.

When you finally decided to stop you look up and see the team. They all wear an expression of wonderment or awe. You blush deeply and walk towards them. You look at Bucky briefly, his look of awe is mixed with.... Adoration? That can't be right. You brush it off and look at the rest of the team.

Tony steps forward and wraps his arm around your shoulder, squeezing softly, he says, "Good job kid! You did a lot of work. Proud of you."

A warmth hits your chest and you realize that these people are slowly becoming a family to you. Tony as the head, representing a father figure. Steve, Sam, Clint and Vision are the brothers you lost. Nat and Wanda the sisters you never had. Bucky.. well he didn't fit in as a brother. You couldn't figure out what he was to you. But you liked him all the same.
