JEALOUSY, JEALOUSY
"Elijah!" You squeal and hug your friend. "Oh my god, I missed you so much!"
Elijah chuckles and holds you tight against him. "How have you been?" He asks as he rolls his suitcases into the house.
"I'm good," you say.
A complete lie.
Your thoughts are still with Jungkook. To be specific: your thoughts have only been about last night. Did Jungkook really didn't see you as a friend? That hurt.
"I'm glad you're doing good," Elijah says. "You live beautifully here. I mean, the neoclassical or old money home vibes here is just perfection," he compliments Jungkook's house.
"It is very beautiful, yes," you say. "I still don't know how Jungkook can afford all this," you chuckle.
Your giggles and laughs could be heard from miles away. It caught Jungkook's attention immediately. So he stopped by in the corridor to check out who made you laugh so much.
"Oh, hey," you greet Jungkook. Jungkook inches closer to you, until he stands closely behind you. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to introduce myself to your friend," Jungkook says while eyeing Elijah from head to toe. "I'm Jungkook," he says, offering his hand to Elijah.
"Elijah." Their hands meet, and Jungkook tightens the grip on Elijah's hand on purpose, giving him a small glare.
"Okay..." you break the silence. "Do you want me to show you your room?" You don't wait for his answer and take Elijah's hand. "Let's go."

"The bed is so soft," Elijah says.
"I know, I used to sleep here."
"Where are you sleeping now?" He asks, starfishing onto the bed.
"Next to my husband," you say.
"Oh." Elijah sits back up. "Are you both fine with that idea? I mean, wouldn't it be awkward?"
"Surely after last night..." you mutter. "Uh, no. We're doing alright," you say.
"That's good to hear. It probably wasn't easy to open up to a stranger, for the both of you," Elijah says.
"No, it wasn't. The first few days were tough because we weren't communicating at all," you say. "Jungkook told me he was shy and the time has shown that he opens up once he's familiar with someone."
