You hear how Jungkook breathes, watching his stomach going up and down with each snore coming our of his mouth.
Your eyes fall on the stitched up wound on his stomach, right above his bellybutton. You reach your hand out and gently trace the healing skin. It was a miracle the bullet didn't hit or damage his insides.
Your hand now moves along with the rithm of his breathing, up and down with each inhale and exhale.
"Looks good, doesn't it?" Jungkook mutters underneath his breath. He yawns and stretches his arms out. He pulls you closer to him and sighs in satisfaction.
"You or the wound?" You wiggle your eyebrows at him and chuckle.
"Are you flirting with me? At nine in the morning?" Jungkook raises his eyebrows and smirks at you.
"It was just banter, don't take me too seriously."
"So you weren't flirting?" Jungkook asks, a little disappointed.
"I never said that," you chuckle and peck his lips before climbing out of bed.
"Hey!" Jungkook's head snaps up. "Get back here, I wasn't done snuggling with you."
You playfully roll your eyes and open the closet to grab yourself some fresh clothes to take with you to the bathroom.
"Deji~" Jungkook sulks and sits up. "Can we cuddle? Just for a little while?"
"I have to do the laundry, Jungkook," you say. "I also want to swim today and do plant some new plants in the garden."
"But you can do that later..."
"You're such a dramatic guy," you chuckle and sigh as you give in, walking back to the bed. You flop down next to him.
Jungkook wraps his arms around you, clinging onto you like a koala on a tree. "What's going on with your clingy behavior?"
"Nothing," Jungkook says, his breath tickeling your neck. "I just love you."
Your heart skips a beat as the words leave his lips. He never really voiced that before. "I love you too." You reach behind you to touch his face, stroke his cheek lovingly. You feel a stubble underneath your fingertips. "You need to shave."
"Why do you have to ruin a sweet moment?" Jungkook chuckles and you start laughing. "Does my facial hair really bother you that much?"
