A Blind!Dean AU where Dean is blind but Cas is really bad at describing stuff.

(Fluff)

It was inspired by a pic, but I can't find it anywhere.

-----

Cas and Dean sat on the hood of the Impala. Dean had his head leaned onto Cas's shoulder as Cas looked up at the night sky.

"Hey Cas?" Dean asked quietly

"Hm?" Cas replied, too caught up in the relaxing feeling of having Dean next to him, with a cool breeze blowing through his hair.

"How do the stars look like?" Dean searched for Cas's hand before Cas simply put his hand on top of Dean's.

"Well they look like... Um..." Cas said as he struggled to find something to compare the stars to. They had many conversations like this one before, with Dean asking Cas to describe something, and Cas being unable to find the right words to describe them.

"Do they look any different?" Dean rephrased.

"Well uh... They kinda look the same to me." Cas replied.

Dean lifted his head from Cas's shoulders, facing the location where he hears Cas's voice.

"Cas," Dean whined.

"I'm sorry Dean, I'm not good at describing things. The stars just look like stars to me." Cas sighs as he feels that he's a disappointment to his boyfriend.

Dean also sighs as he runs his hand through his hair. "Then, how do I look like? Can you do that?"

Cas makes a questioning expression, but decided to try for Dean. "I guess I can try."

"So? How do I look like?" Dean asks, blushing pink as he suddenly feels insecure.

"Hmm, well." Cas takes Dean's cheeks into his hands as he stares at him. Dean blushes harder, somehow feeling Cas's impenetrable gaze.

"You have green eyes."

Dean pouts. "Be more descriptive. How green?"

"They're like... fan-fiction green." Cas nods to himself, even though Dean can't see it.

"Fan-fiction green?" Dean grows a goofy smile. "What kind of description is that?"

"It's the only way I can describe them. They're just so... green," Dean laughs and Cas smiles to himself as he sees Dean's laughter. The laughter dies down and Cas stares at Dean's face again.

"They're like... Well, they're a really light green. And they're bright. It's like, grass. Yeah, it's like the color of really healthy grass when the sun shines on them. Like a big, giant field of grass in your eyes." Dean feels the heat rush to his cheeks, contrasting against the cold feeling on Cas's fingertips.

"I thought it was hard for you to describe stuff Cas?" Dean said as he tried to hide his blush.

"Well-," Cas started blushing as well. "I don't know, I just got into it." Dean chuckled.

"So, what else?" Dean asked with a serious face.

Cas ran his fingertips over Dean's cheekbones, glazing over the light brown freckles on his cheekbones.

"Your cheeks-," Dean mentally prepared himself for Cas's description. "They have these light brown freckles over them. They're like... like the color of wet sand or... brown sugar." Cas brushes his hands over Dean's freckles again, deep in thought. "They're spread over the top of your cheeks and a little between the bridge of your nose. They're like stardust. Have you ever seen those space documentaries when you were a kid? The ones that show you how stars and planets are created? It reminds me of those. Like how the stardust spreads in space before it creates anything."
