Vic's POV
I woke up at about 10PM. We fell asleep on the floor at about 6PM. I looked to see Maiah sleeping in my arms. I smiled at her, even though she wouldn't see me. I couldn't stand to see her sleep on the uncomfortable floor, so I picked her up and carried her to my room. I laid her down and got next to her carefully so I didn't wake her up. I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep.
*5 hours later*
"Vic. Wake up babe. I'm scared." Maiah woke me up.
"What's the matter?" I said nervously.
"I heard a loud thud outside the window. I think it's Matt." Maiah said sounding really scared this time.
"Why can't that kid leave us alone!? I'll go check, come with me. I'll hold your hand." I held out my hand and she took it. I dragged her to the window and looked outside. Maiah was right. Matt was outside. I dragged her down stairs, and into the backyard.
"What are you doing here Matt?!" Maiah yelled.
"I'm here for you. I can't stand seeing you with this dude. He needs to stop protecting you so much my god Maiah stand up for yourself! He needs to leave you alone! My god I want you back! I'm jealous okay! I need you in my life! Maiah please give me another chance. Please." He is basically crying.
"Excuse me? Don't you EVER talk about Vic like that! I like having Vic around. At least I know he won't cheat on me like you! I'm NEVER getting back with you! Are you fucking serious?! Why the would I give you another chance!? You broke my heart and Vic put it back together! He actually spends time with me! He makes me feel loved! You lost your chance with me! You said I was better off dead! Just stop talking to me, stop talking to my boyfriend, and stay out of my life!" She had tears running down her face, and so did I. She wrapped her arms around me and squeezed extremely tight. Matt glared at me and I glared back. I kissed the top of her head right as he began to talk.
"Please Maiah. I'll do anything to get you back. We're still boyfriend and girlfriend because you never broke it off."
"There's nothing you can do that'll change my mine. We're done. I never want to see you again. Go away and out of my life." He then ran over and kissed her hand. Maiah tried to rip him off but she couldn't. I had to do something so I pulled him off.
"Get away from my girlfriend." With that i picked her up and ran in the house. I walked to my room and dropped us on the bed.
"Thank you Vic. Thank you for getting him off of me." She said as I cuddled with her.
"I should be thanking you. Thank you for all of the nice things you said about me. It made me feel good. Until that stupid bitch wanted you back."
"Trust me. I wouldn't go to him in a million years."
"Thank you babe. I love you."
"I love you more." I kissed her forehead before she fell asleep.
Maiah's POV
I woke up at about 4AM and went to the bathroom. I dug out my blade and cut my wrist. I had to. Matt annoys the shit out of me and I had to let that go. I probably cut 20 times before the door opened. I spun around to see Vic standing there and he gasped. He ran over to me and took the blade. He threw it in the trash and ran back to me.
He finally finished cleaning my wrist and bandaging it. After he finished he pulled me into a hug.
"I'm sorry Vic. I coul-" I got cut by him kissing me. After a few seconds he pulled back.
" I know." He pulled back and showed me his wrist, which was covered in new scars. I felt tears running down my face but Vic wiped every one away.
