DONT READ THIS IS SUCKS BALLS OK

Hello, I just wanted to say that if you think I copied another author, I think you're wrong. If you think I made Maiah out of Mia, you're wrong. I chose Maiah because that was my old best friends name,(We were friends when i made this) and so I didn't copy. I realize that they sound the same and stuff but i have a reason for Maiah. I also chose Matt because I was sitting on the bus when I started writing this and there's a kid on my bus named Matt and i couldn't think of a name so I chose Matt. I didn't copy her with the name Matt. If you want proof ask @dre11a. I only made Matt cheat on their anniversary and I had Maiah meet Vic after Matt cheated. Those are the only things that are the same so read the rest of the story! I really don't want the hear or read things like, "You copied _____!" or "This is basically the same as ______." I know this story sucks until like chapter 30, it's because this is my first story. Oh and this story is exaggerated and stuff and I don't think half of this stuff can happen but that's okay. So please read it until the end cuz I guarantee you that this story isn't the same as others. k bye.

Maiah's POV.

I got up extra early this morning to get ready for mine and Matt's 10 month anniversary. I was super excited that we've been together for so long. He's basically perfect. He looks like me somewhat which is kind of weird but it's really cool. He's been mean and he has yelled at me but most of the time it's because he's frustrated. I quickly finished my hair and skipped down my hallway, passing my living room which had many pictures of Matt and I. I smiled and opened my front door, running down the street since I was so excited. I skipped and twirled and felt happy. I stopped running once I got to Matt's neighborhood, so I wouldn't be huffing and puffing when I got there. I causally walked to his house and up his steps, taking his key out of my pocket and jamming it into the keyhole, twisting it in the process. I slowly opened the door, so I wouldn't startle him but I guess I did. He sat on his couch with his hand over his heart. I smiled at him but he looked frightened. I didn't think I looked that bad...

"Okay babe, I'm leaving for work, see you tonight after your friend comes over. Love you." This girl said as she came out of nowhere. She bent down and kissed Matt, but I hurt even more when I seen him kiss back. Was I not good enough? She pulled away and walked out his door, running into my shoulder as she passed. I stared at Matt while my mouth hung open. He had a stupid smirk on his face which instantly faded once he looked at me.

"I can-"

"Don't tell me you can explain, I know what happened! You were cheating on me!" I yelled at him.

"I know, I know, but-"

"No, that's that! I wasn't good enough for you so you cheated. It's that simple. Goodbye, Matt." I turned around and walked out the door, slamming it as I left.

I heard him open the door and yell my name but I just kept walking. He yelled after me for a few minutes before he finally gave up and went back inside, slamming the door. I kept my head down and I didn't look as I crossed the street. I heard the sound of breaks and I looked up to see a car sitting there. My makeup smudged and I was crying. I then heard the sound of a car door shutting. I looked up again to see a cute boy with nicely tanned skin, beautiful brown eyes, and shoulder length hair. He looked perfect. As I was in my own little world, I felt a hand slide into mine, and drag me to a car. He slid me inside. I looked to see the cute boy looking at me. He grabbed my hand and I intertwined our fingers. He smiled at me. Nice teeth too!? He's perfect.

"My name is Vic." He said suddenly.

"Maiah." I replied.

"I'm sorry if I scared you in any way, I just didn't like that you were hurt so I decided to help." He said.

"It's fine. I'm glad you did." I smiled. I was still crying but not at all as much.

"We're going to my house, if that's okay."

"Perfect." I smiled.

We drove the rest of the way in silence; we still held hands. We pulled into a driveway and he ran around and open the door. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out. We walked into his house and it smelled exactly like him. It calmed my nerves a little bit. We walked in and he pulled me to his couch, pulling me into his arms as he did so. I quickly wrapped mine around him and felt safe.

Vic's POV

I was driving through a nice neighborhood when I seen a person walk in front of me. I slammed on the breaks. I seen her look at me, tears in her eyes and makeup smudged. I got out to see what was wrong. I went over and dragged her to the car. We talked a little and I held her hand, and we drove to my house. We went in, and I brought her to the couch. She smiled and I could tell it was fake. I felt so bad. I wanted to know what was wrong, but I didn't want her to start crying again. So, I hugged her, and to my surprise she hugged back. She was really really pretty. I barely knew her and I loved her, as weird as that sounds. After awhile I sat back. I looked into her eyes, and she was broken. I rubbed her back, and she began to talk.

"Vic?" She said quietly.

"Yes?"

"Do you want to know what happened?" I nodded and she cleared her throat and began to talk.

"I was cheated on. I don't know long he cheated for, but I went over there and she came out of nowhere and kissed him, and he kissed back. I yelled at him and left. Then I met you. " She started crying again.

"I'm so sorry Maiah. Stay here tonight. I don't want him to come and try to talk to you." I said.

"Okay. I will." She smiled. This was a true smile, I could tell.

I leaned over and gave her a huge hug. We sat back and looked into each others eyes. I leaned in and kissed her forehead. She smiled as I kissed her head again and again.
