6. Will wake up I don't like this

Lila and I were waiting in my car for Bear and I was getting irratated. I got out the car and started walking towards the school and I saw a women waiting aswell. "Hi who are you" she asked smiling down at Lila "I'm Lark Gray and this is Lila Gray." She seemed to smile more "I'm Joyce Wheeler you must be Bears sister. Will has told me alot about Bear" I smiled "I'm actually his adoptive mom" She nodded and crouched down to Lila's height "Well aren't you a lovely one" Lila hid behind my leg and I chuckled.

"she is mute so she can't speak" I said and she smiled "I used to know a special little girl." I nodded "So Will is late aswell" I asked and she nodded. "Shall we go find our children and get them home" she grinned and I picked Lila up walking back into the school.

We hear a yell and followed it "WILL" I sucked in a breath "Dustin" I asked as he rounded the corner seeing us. "What's going on where's Will" Joyce asked and I waved hello to Max who smiled back. Lucas ran in seeing us "The feild" was all he said and we took off following him.

I saw Mike shaking Will's shoulder calling his name. Will seemed to be sleeping while standing and I saw Bear there aswell. He shot me a worried look and I gave him Lila walking over to Will. "I just found him like this. I think he's having another episode" Mike said and I was worried for the kid now.

Joyce tried hard to wake Will up and I stood to the side with Bear and Lila next to me. Dustin walked over to my other side and I saw Max looking around confused and worried. He suddenly opened his eyes and I instinctively grabbed Bear and Dustin pulling them back slightly.

Joyce held onto Will's shoulders tightly and began walking him out. We followed them and stayed by the door as they drove off. "Two episodes in two days" Lucas said and Mike nodded "It's getting worse" Max shot me a look and I shrugged. "You think it's true sight" Lucas asked and I raised an eyebrow. "What's true sight" I asked and Lucas clenched up "It's nothing" I looked at Bear who was still carrying Lila and he shrugged.

"Well you lot get home and Dustin be careful with that thing" I said pointing at the ghost trap. I got home and instantly wanted to know what was going on. I picked up my house phone and dialed Steve's number. He picked up and I froze not knowing what to say. "Hello. Lark is that you" again I didn't speak and he sighed "Lark what's wrong" I hung up the phone sighing.

I sat in the lounge and turned on my TV. I was there for a while when there was a nock at my door. Looking over I didn't have the energy to get up and answer. "Lark it's me open up. I see your car" I looked back at the TV and Bear walked up "It's Steve should I open up" I shrugged not looking over and Bear sighed.

"Hey Bear is Lark here" Steve asked and I didn't hear anything for a second or two. Footsteps came from the hall way leading to the lounge and suddenly Steve was in front of me "What's wrong Lark. Bear told me you didn't sleep last night and that you haven't eaten supper yet." I continued watching the TV and I heard another set of footprints "that happens when she has no energy or if something happened that stressed her out alot" I knew it was Bear and I knew I should respond but I couldn't.

Steve sighed "I'll cook supper can you watch Lila. I can't promise the food will be good but it should still be edible" Bear laughed "Don't worry Lila is okay playing in her room I'll cook. I love cooking lasagna and it's Lila's favorite" Steve nodded "Are you sure" I presume Bear nodded cause Steve turned to me "Lark tell me what happened"

The memory of Billy saying my scars made me look prettier flodded my mind and my bottom lip began to quiver. Memories from the lab and what happened today at the feild came back and I burst into tears feeling so tired and drained. "Shit" Steve said and he wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer to him.

He sat there with me in his arms while I broke down crying. Not once did he speak or shush me. All he did was let me cry on his shoulder and hold me. He cared so much about me and we hadn't even known each other for more then a week. I loved this man and I realized it now. I wanted to be with him forever and always. I wanted him to comfort me when I was having bad days like this one and I wanted to do the same for him. I wanted to wake up next to him and start my day by looking at his beautiful face. I wanted him to be there for Lila and Bear and teach them things I couldn't. I wanted him but I knew I couldn't have him. His heart belonged to Nancy and I knew he could never be mine and that made me cry even harder.
