Jensen and Kat watch their daughter and her friends have fun in the ocean.

"I'm so glad Ash met those three during senior year," Kat admits to Jensen. "Hopefully, we meet those boys. Want to meet the three who helped our girl out of a dark time." She smiles at the sight. "Calen seems like a sweet girl. She lives up to how Ash talks about her."

"She does," Jensen responds as his eyes are glued on to Calen and Jackson. One night — one accident, and she's taken over his mind.

"You've been off since the girls got here," Kat calls Jensen out. "What's going on?" She rests her chin on his chest to look up at him.

"Just overprotective of our girl." Jensen doesn't remove his eyes from the view. "They may have helped Ash, but that doesn't mean I automatically trust them."

"They're sweet kids. I know it." Kat tries to assure Jensen, not knowing he's lying. He trusts the three adults his daughter counts as her best friends, but he needs an excuse for his behavior and why he can't tear his eyes from the view from their kitchen window.

"Towels." Kat hands each soaked adult a towel to dry off with.

"Thank you." All four say in unison causing Calen and Astrid to start laughing.

"When's dinner?" Astrid questions at the same time Jensen walks out onto the porch with steaks. "That answers my question." She giggles, causing everyone to smile. Her laugh can brighten up anyone's day. "I told the boys they can stay for dinner." She tells her parents and they're surprisingly okay with it.

"Alright, I'm freezing, Ash," Jackson admits making everyone besides Jensen chuckle.

"Heated pool," Astrid says before dropping her towel, dragging Calen to the pool, and throwing her in. "Whoops." Her smirk falls when Caleb pushes her in too.

"Whoops." Caleb mimics Astrid before diving in to join the girls and Jackson follows after.

Jensen and Kat watch the four interact again while Jensen lights the grill. He tries his best to keep from looking at Calen and more at the food he's preparing to grill.

"You have more in the fridge, right?" Kat points to the four steaks and Jensen nods his head. "Enough for the boys?" He nods his head again and she disappears into the house.

The four decide on playing chicken fight, Astrid on Caleb's shoulders and Calen on Jackson's. All of them competitive, it takes a few minutes for Astrid to push Calen off of Jackson's shoulders.

"I let you two win." Calen jokes with them.

"It's okay, we can be sore losers together," Jackson says before pushing Calen's head underwater with a laugh.

"Son of a bitch!" Calen somewhat yells at him when she's above water. She puts both her hands on his head and does the same thing he did to her. "No!" She squeals when she feels Jackson grab her hips.

Pushing up from the water, Jackson throws Calen across the pool.

"We're throwing the girls?" Caleb looks at Jackson with a mischievous smile and Jackson nods his head with the same smirk. Caleb picks up Astrid and does what Jackson did to Calen.

"I will pants you." Astrid threatens Caleb and Calen cackles. "You too for throwing my girl." She points at Jackson.

"I call dibs on Jackson." Calen throws her hand in the air with a smile that makes her dimples show. Jensen catches the view and he adorns his own smile while feeling a sudden jealousy, catching himself off guard.
