"I still can't believe you slept with someone less than twenty four hours after finding out Harden was a lying, cheating son of a bitch." Astrid admits as she sits on Calen's couch, sipping one of the two coffees she brought over. "I'm not saying you shouldn't have because I mean... you should have. Which you did. It's just a little shocking coming from you."

"Yeah, well, get me over ten Negronis in and multiple shots of vodka, and I think I can do anything." Calen explains as she drinks her coffee, silently praying it'll help cure her hangover.

"Was he hot?" Astrid asks as she moves to sit crisscross.

"I think he's the most finest man I have ever laid eyes on. But I'm glad he left before I fully woke up because I don't do that awkward shit." Calen admits.

"'Fully woke up'?"

"I kinda woke up when he got out of bed," She informs her and Astrid pushes for a little more detail. "I mean, of course I stayed awake to look at that fine piece of art, sadly get dressed. But I guess he noticed because he kissed my forehead and told me to go back to sleep."

"And he didn't leave his number?" Astrid seems astonished. "No- you didn't ask for his number?"

"You be fucked out and it be probably like six in the morning." Calen snaps back and Astrid chuckles.

"Alright, alright," Astrid nods her head. "But how're you feeling besides the best night of your life and this hangover?" She indirectly asks how Calen's feeling about catching Harden.

"Well, five years of my love life and planning my future with an ass went down the drain in less than ten seconds, so I'm not doing the best." Calen confesses and Astrid places her coffee down to hug her. "It's fine. I'm just glad I found out before he proposed- if he was ever going to."

"You're staying with me this summer." Astrid holds Calen's arms. "You get to finally meet my parents and we can all have a great time together and you can invite Caleb over too, even Char." She tries to convince her to come. But even if Calen says no Astrid is going to force her.

"Pack your bags, babe," Astrid beams when she notices Calen not putting up a fight. "You're staying with me for the next two months."

"Give me time to get over this hangover." Calen settles into the corner of her couch. "And the time to burn all of Harden's stuff." She adds on when Astrid grabs the remote to the TV and puts on Modern Family.

"We can leave tomorrow."

"I can't wait for you to meet my parents. You're going to love them." Astrid is practically jumping in her seat as she drives her and Calen to her house. "And I strongly believe they'll love you because I love talking about you."

"Okay, now you have me nervous because what if I don't live up to what you told them?" Calen feels a sudden wave of worry.

"Don't worry, I told them all the stupid stuff we did too." Astrid's confession makes Calen's jaw drop. "Okay, maybe not all. Some of the stuff they'd slaughter me for and you."

"I feel like Cal should be here." Calen wants her twin brother. "Just in case I get kicked out."

"If they kick you out then I'm coming with and they won't let that happen because this is the last summer before I start my job and only see them for holidays." Astrid explains to her. "Plus, like I said, they're going to love you."

Astrid turns up the music Calen plays from her road-trip playlist on the radio.

Soon enough, the duo are pulling into Astrid's parents' driveway and parking.
