Astrid pops into the living room only Calen occupies at the moment and looks around. "Time to get kinky." She pulls out a blindfold when she sees her father isn't in the room. "We're going somewhere and you can't know where.""Last time this happened I ended up dancing on a bar," Calen remembers the first and last time Astrid did this to her. "Hardin and I just got into a big fight and you got my shitfaced." She explains and the mention of Hardin makes Astrid's face twist in disgust.
"If his name leaves your mouth without an insult," Astrid points at Calen like a mother would at her child she's scolding, "I will slap you."
"What?" Jensen appears in the living room, making both girls jump.
"Long story," Astrid tells her dad.
"Short story." Calen corrects her. "Your daughter wants to blindfold me and take me somewhere." For once she doesn't feel the need to hide from Jensen, but as if she's with a friend.
"Dad can come with then." Astrid smiles at Jensen and he caves within a second. "Okay. Let's go." She struts to Calen and wraps the blindfold around her eyes. "You're driving on your own," Astrid tells Jensen as she walks Calen outside. "C'mon my beautiful, gorgeous best friend." She says and Calen hears Jensen snicker.

"Just a little bit further." Astrid walks to the front of Calen's house, taking her through the garage because of the steps at her front door.
Astrid looks to Jensen and nods at the door, signaling for him to open it. Stepping in, Calen catches the familiar smell of her home and she grins widely.
"Okay, a few more steps." Astrid continues to help Calen through her house. "Take the blindfold off." She tells her a second after they hear Jensen chuckle.
Taking off the blindfold, Calen sees a banner in her parents' kitchen that says "FUCK HARDIN" which makes her burst out into laughter. All her friends, her parents, her little sister, and her twin brother stand in the kitchen too with wide smiles. They all hated Hardin.
"The party I've been waiting to throw." Astrid wraps her arm around Calen's shoulders and everyone agrees.
Calen's soon hugging her parents and little sister with a smile that hurts her face.
"Ash even bought a cake." Jackson grabs Calen's attention and places his hand on her lower back and leads her to the counter which displays a cake that says "we all hated that bitch."
"You guys really did hate him." Calen laughs as everyone cheers.
The whole kitchen is decorated like a celebratory or birthday party. Everyone did despise Hardin.
"Nuh-uh." Calen catches Charlotte trying to open a beer. "You're not twenty-one, young lady." She takes the beer from her hands. "You're also in front of Mom and Dad." She whispers as they eye their parents.
"They allow me to drink when they're home and I'm not going anywhere," Charlotte tells Calen but she doesn't believe her.
"Even visiting from college, they wouldn't allow me to drink, so what makes you think I believe that?" Calen quirks an eyebrow and her little sister sighs in defeat. "I'm halfway done with mine. Go up to your room and make sure Mom and Dad don't see." She hands her, her own beer. "But this means you're not going anywhere tonight."
"Deal." Charlotte beams and takes her sister's beer before sneaking off to her room.
"You're a cool sister for that." Jackson walks up to Calen with a smirk. "You're lucky Jensen has your parents wrapped in a conversation." Calen watches Jensen interact with her parents. "Where'd this come from?" Jackson points out a dark pink and purple spot on Calen's neck.
