Monday at school. I dressed like I usually did. A dress or jeans and a cute top. Today I wore my dark blue bell bottoms and a blue shirt with puffed sleeves. I did my makeup in my usual way. It was almost the last of school. Finally our last week.

I walked into school with Delilah. We said bye to each other and went to our separate friend groups. She was friends with the artsy kids. They were also called the "weird" kids but I didn't think they were weird at all. The girls walked up to me. "Bitch where the hell were you on Saturday!" Misty asked, "uh I left early" I replied. "The cops came and everyone's parents were called" Lottie said, "my parents said I can't use the phone for 2 months!" Holly added. "Yeah I'm not allowed to leave the house except for school for the rest of the summer" Misty added. "Why did you leave?" Lottie asked, "I heard someone say that she jumped the fence with William!" Holly replied. I smiled nervously, "maybe it's true!" I replied. Misty and Holly squealed, "omg, where did you go?" Misty asked, "we went to the creek but I had the leave, but we did kiss" I said quietly so only they heard. "Omg!" "Diana!"
Then I look across the hall and see William. I smiled at him. His friends look and say something to him and then they laugh. "What the hell?" I say under my breath. We were just making out the other day and now he's like this?!

In English class. I had this class with William. He sat at the back and I sat near the front. The teacher was handing back tests. She handed me mine. "50%" damn. I heard someone behind me, "ha! Diana failed her test!" They laughed and more people laughed. Carol Smith was the one to say this. "Like how you failed your pregnancy test?" I turn back and say. She got embarrassed and even more people laughed. That's what she gets for messing with the wrong person. "Girls that's enough" the teacher said. I saw William from the back, smiling at me. I frowned at him, I was mad at him too! I was mad at everyone!

Later at lunch me and the girls were in line and I told them all about it. "Ew that bitch had no right telling my best friend that!" Misty said. "You know she needs to be taught a lesson" Lottie smirked and the rest of the girls laughed.
We walked out of the line and Misty walked over to Carol. "Hey slut!" She said. Everyone turned their heads, they knew what was about to happen. "Did you call Diana dumb? Huh, you made fun of one of my girls?"
Carol was scared and you could tell she was trembling. "Answer me!" She said as she got up in her face. "Uh yeah." She said softly. "What was that, bitch?" She asked. "Yeah" she said again. She grabbed her face with one hand, "don't you ever make fun of Diana or anyone of my girls, you know what will happen!" She said. Then we all walked away. Misty was actually really nice but if you crossed the line with her or anyone she's friend with she will definitely beat you up. I saw William again, he smiled at me again and I looked away. I was too perfect for that musty dude with a rats nest in the back of his head!

The next couple days I had really became a rebel. Well I basically turned into Misty nice with her friends but rude to everyone and everything else. Teachers, students you name it I was rude to it. To everyone.
One day before school. I ran down the hallway and was about to walk out when my dad called me from the kitchen as I passed it. I turned, "yes, dad?"
"Sit down, Diana I need to have a talk with you" he said. Oh god!
"So I noticed you had got some new friends recently and I'm very happy for you but I couldn't help but noticed that they changed you"
"Yeah now I'm cool and not a stupid loser"
He ignored it and kept talking. "You have been dress differently and now you wear makeup everyday and I get it you are growing and you're almost in high school but I've noticed a behavior change too" he said. I groaned. "Now I know you went to that party last week and I'm sure you had fun" I didn't. "You have been quite aggressive lately and rude"
"So? People should learn not to cross me!"
"Diana, I understand you are going through a stressful and confusing time but I just don't want you to do anything stupid" he grabbed my hand. It comforted me that my dad cared. "Thanks dad, I won't."

Then it was the last day of school. Me and the girls were talking about our summer plans to hang out and then William walked up to our lunch table. "Can I help you?" I asked, "Diana, why the heck have you been acting like this?" He asked. Everyone started staring at us, "I have no idea what you are talking about!"
"No you know exactly what I'm talking about! You know you said I was an asshole but you are the one that made out with me and then just left me there at the creek!"
I was so nervous, it was out that Willam and I kissed. "William, why are you talking about this here?" I asked, "I need to, to knock some sense into that dumbass brain of yours!" He replied. "Fine! I was mad at you because you kissed me and then at school you act like it never even happened!"
Then he just walked away. He walked by me and put something in my hand. A piece of paper. I look around, everyone is still staring at me, "what the hell are you looking at? Get a life!" I yelled. I scoffed and opened the paper. It was a number, under it was "Call me please, from Willy."
