Part 11: Pressure

A few months later we were back to school. 10th grade. I was walking down the hall with the girls, they talked about something about their boyfriends as I spaced out. "What about you and William, Diana?" Lottie asked, "huh?"
"Have you guys ever done it?" Misty asked, "no" I replied. "Well are you ever gonna? You can't just be a virgin forever!" Holly said, "hey keep your voice down!" I replied as people looked at us. "I just don't know if I'm ready yet or him"
"You've never talked about it before?"
"No. But why rush it?"
"You've been with him for over a year"
"Yes but that doesn't matter. Excuse me or I'm gonna be late" I said and walked off to go to class. I was getting kinda irritated with them. Like they were pressuring me something I didn't want to do.

The next few days passed. Delilah wanted to get to school early today. The sun was barley risen, the sky was gold and orange. "Delilah why did you want to come so early?" I groaned, "because I wanna go to the library before 1st period" she replied.

We walked into school. Delilah goes to the library and me and William go to the cafeteria. I sit down at our usual table and groan as I put my head down. Willie sits next to me. "You okay, Diana?" He asked, "I'm so tired!" I groaned. I leaned back and put my head on his shoulder.
I take out my magazine from my backpack. "You brought that to school?" Willie asked, "yes I take my Destiny Wilson magazine everywhere!"
I flipped through it and glanced up. "Ew Teddy's going to the library, what a nerd" I say. "You're sister is in there"
"Yeah but she's not a nerd because she basically lives there."

A few days later it was morning at school and everyone was surrounding this area. "What is all the commotion?" I asked Willie. "I have no idea." Then I saw her. A kinda short thin figure with long black hair that was back in a ponytail and wearing a really cute outfit with sunglasses. My heart almost stopped. "T-t-that's Destiny Wilson!" I squealed. She walked up to us and a boy behind her following her, holding her backpack. "Oh hey I'm Destiny" she said to Teddy out of all people! I ran over there, "Destiny!" I yelled and hugged her "Um hi" she said. "Delilah it's Destiny Wilson!" I exclaimed, Delilah looked at me confused, "a-am I supposed to know who that is?" she said, I gasped, "you're not my sister anymore!" Then I turned to Destiny, "Destiny you're my new sister!" I said, "I'm Destiny Wilson, I'm a model, I do beauty pageants and sometimes I do acting. Oh and I'm also Teen Ms. Colorado" Destiny said proudly, "oh um that's cool" Delilah said. "Hi I'm Diana. I love you so much. You are such an inspiration in like all aspects" I said. "Oh thank you" she replied. "Diana!" Misty yelled and ran to me with the other two girls behind her. "Hi I'm Misty. Is it okay if I show you around school?" She said. I scoffed. Of course Misty had to be the one to do it. "Excuse me. You very rudely interrupted Diana" Destiny said. "Uh I wasn't rude" she replied. "No I know exactly what kind of girls you are. So scram go be rude and mean and spread false rumors else where" she said. Omg I couldn't believe it. Destiny was like the coolest person ever! "Hi I'm Lucas, Destiny friend" the guy behind her said, "hey I'm Diana" I replied.

I reintroduced the girls to Destiny. She seemed like she was warming up to them now. At lunch I introduced her to William too and we all sat at a table together. "Is Lucas your boyfriend?" Holly asked Destiny. Of course if she said yes they were gonna pressure them too just like they are to me and William. "Oh no! No! Me and Lucas had known each other since we were babies!" Destiny replied. I spaced out. Willie noticed, "you okay?" He asked, "oh yeah, I'm fine." I was kinda avoiding Willie most of the time. I was scared that he was gonna wanna do it and I was scared.

Later that evening I was telling dad all about my day and how Destiny Wilson now goes to our school. Then as I was about to go to sleep I remembered Willie's face at lunch. He looked down the entire time and looked upset. Omg I made him sad because I've been avoiding him!
Then what do i do? Of course run to his house and jump through his bedroom window. "Willie! I am so sorry!" I said, "what are you taking about?" I sat next to him on the bed, "I've been only avoiding you because- uh because..." fuck, now he's gonna know! "I uh well you know what people do when they have been dating a while and they feel connected? Sometimes they wanna feel more connected and do this thing-"
"Are you really trying to give me the sex talk?"
I could feel how red my face was. "I- uh. Been feeling that lately when i am with you." I avoid eye contact. "Really? Is that why you've been avoiding me?"
I nod still looking down. "You don't need to be scared to do that. It just comes naturally to two people" he grabbed my hand and I looked up at him. "I'm ready when you are."
"What?"
"I-I- want to...right now."
His entire face turned bright red and he looked down. "Um, I mean sure. I actually kinda been feeling it too lately." He replied.
We made eye contact and both leaned in and kissed. That night I was the first time I had sex with Willie. The first time I had ever did that.
