Insatiable (ON HOLD)

Part 12: Realization

A few months passed. Before I knew it, it was almost the last day of school again. This day I didn't go to school though. I felt sick all morning and was throwing up. My dad had took me to the doctor that day. "So what are the symptoms?" The doctor asked, "nausea and headaches are really the only big ones" I replied, "any other?"
"Um I don't think this is related at all but my hip has been hurting for no reason at all" I replied. She typed something in her computer, "are you pregnant?" She asked, "no." "Are you sure?" "I don't think so" I replied. "Okay we're gonna do a pregnancy test just to make sure. Those sound exactly like pregnancy symptoms" she said. It never dawned on me that I could be pregnant.
After she did it she looked at me. "So um, you are 5 months pregnant" she said, "huh?" I was so confused, pregnant? Me? As in I was gonna have a baby? Like a human baby? I was so speechless I didn't know what to say. "Do you want me to call your dad?" She asked. I nodded. How was I pregnant? I didn't even look like it at all! They told my dad, he looked at me worried. Then I realized that I would have to tell Willie and his parents. What if he leaves me alone and I have to raise a child on my own at 16 years old? Tears rolled down my face. My dad walked over and hugged me. "It's okay, It's okay. Everything is gonna be fine, Diana" he assured me. "I-I'm sorry" I said, "it's alright, it's not no ones fault" he replied, "I'm sorry."
"If anything it's my fault. I'm sorry I was there to teach about being safe or anything" he said.

Later that day I had went over to Willie's house. The front door this time. He opened the door. I had just told him that I wanted to meet his mom. I was gonna tell them together. We sat down on the couch. "So Diana, how long have you been going out with William?" His mom asked. "Almost 2 years" I replied. "Oh back when he was like that?" She asked I nodded. "You know I really believe you changed my son"
"Really?"
"Yeah before he met you he was so aggressive all the time now he's just a cute sweet pea!" She exclaimed. "Um, i actually have something else to say." They both looked at me curiously. I took a deep breathe as my hands started trembling. "I-I'm pregnant..."
They didn't say anything for a bit. Then his mom stood up. "What!? You came to meet me just so you could say that!" She yelled. "Mom please don't yell" Willie said. "Why did you think it was appropriate to do that? You know what never mind because you obviously know about too many things!" She said, "mom."
"No, your just a whore! You sleep with my son and then come do this!"
Tears started rolling down my face. "Mom! Shut up!" Willie yelled as he stood up. He sighed and walked over to me. "I did this with Diana so i guess I'm a whore too" he said.

Later we worked out things together without his mom there. We sat on his porch steps as he held me in his arms. "You don't need to cry, Diana we're gonna do this together" he said.

A few days later we had went to our doctors appointment. Me, Willie and my dad. "So it looks like it is a boy" the doctor said. I didn't know how to feel about this. I was only 15 at this time. I was so nervous. I wasn't very excited.

Then it was summer and we had went camping with everyone, Me, Willie, Delilah, Destiny, Lucas, and Delilah wanted to invite Teddy. I tried to hide that I was pregnant from everyone at school. Only Willie and Delilah know. I was actually really excited to go camping though. My last time to go on a trip as a normal teenager. When they arrived they found the perfect place to set up. "Isn't this just the perfect place?" I asked, "it has the picnic table, the big logs to sit on, I wonder why it wasn't taken?" "Maybe because people are smart and don't sleep in the woods" Delilah replied. She was not thrilled to camp. She's never really liked outdoors ever. "Okay let's set up!" Willie said.

A little later Delilah and Teddy had went to get wood. Me and Destiny had gone to the store to get food and stuff. We were driving in the van. I was driving, Destiny was too young to dive. "So is there anything going on between you and Lucas?" I asked. She had laughed softly, "no, everyone thinks that because we're so close. But he's like a brother to me." I smirked, "actually everyone thinks you use him to carry your stuff" I said. "What? I do not! I tell him I can carry my stuff but he insists every time" she replied. "So is there anything going on between you and William?" She asked. I bursted into laughter. "Yes! We've been dating for 2 years now!" I laughed. Her eyes widened, "really? I had no idea!"

We got back and Delilah and Teddy almost drowned in the river. I was so scared but we found them and they were save. Delilah had lost her contacts in the water in was wearing her glasses. "Do you see that? Total player!" I said as I pointed out Teddy was getting comforted by Destiny while Delilah stared at them. "Now I think you should let Delilah do what she wants. She smart she will definitely not do anything stupid" Willie replied. Then I noticed now Lucas sat next to Delilah and they looked up at the stars. "Omg! Omg! Willie! Lucas is totally into Delilah!" I said, "they look like their really into each other" "come on, Diana you think that about ever guy Delilah talks to" Willie replied,
"But look at the way his eyes twinkle when he looks at her"
"Kind of like the way she looks at Teddy"
"No! I will not have my sister go out with Theodore Woods!"
"Well I guess you'll just have to accept that, that's your future brother-in-law."

Later we were going to sleep in our tent. I couldn't sleep. I was scared, not because of Delilah kept saying a bear was gonna eat us. I was scared what was gonna happen after today. I was gonna actually have a human child. I turned over. "You can't sleep either?" Willie asked, "no, I'm just really worried."
He pulled me in and put his arms around me, "everything is gonna be alright, Diana"
"What if everyone at school finds out? The girls aren't gonna talk to me ever again and everyone is gonna call me a slut"
"Well their gonna have to call me a slut too, we both did it"
"But you know that's not how it works! They always blame the girl!" Tears stared to fill my eyes, "hey, hey hey, it's alright, it's okay, Diana. Look I can picture us now! You, me and our son living in a nice house, in Denver and he's beautiful and you still look beautiful and you're a best selling painter and your art is in galleries and sold for millions!"
I laughed as I wiped my eyes, "William, do you promise you won't leave me? Please don't leave me"
"I promise I won't leave you."
