1 Week Later.
"Mione, did you hear me?" Ginny asks Hermione who is looking vacantly into space, Ginny touches Hermione's shoulder softly which brings Hermione back to where she was as she flinches at the touch, Hermione was sitting on the sofa in The Potter's sitting room, Pansy, Blaise and Ginny were sitting around her and were now all looking at her with a worried look.
"Sorry, what?" Hermione asks timidly, Ginny sends her a small smile and moves her hand away from Hermione who had an almost fearful look on her face, "I was talking about how Mum wanted to everyone to come over for dinner." Ginny tells Hermione slowly, Hermione takes in a breath before sitting back in the sofa, she rubs her arms that were covered by a heavy jumper, despite the warm weather, "Oh right. What's the occasion?" Hermione asks still not fully concentrating on the conversation.
Pansy and Ginny each send each other concerned looks about the brown haired woman. "She wants to meet Pansy properly, plus she said that a few of my brothers want to give out some announcements." Ginny tells Hermione who's feels panic rise in her chest at the mention of Ginny's brothers, Ginny notices this and instantly takes her hand which makes Hermione look at her, "You're safe." Ginny tells her softly, Hermione's panic start to ease and she takes a deep breath, she was safe, she knew that.
In the week following the attack, Hermione had moved into The Potter's place again, she hadn't felt safe at her apartment any more, especially after it was discovered that the spell that Ron had used to take the magic out of her apartment couldn't be undone unless it was by him and that wouldn't be possible as he was currently in Azkaban for what he had done to her.
Harry and the rest of the Auror were working hard on trying to found out who had spelled Ron, not that it made much difference to her, Ron had still been the one do it to her and she would never forget it, she was plagued by nightmares once again but the monster this time was the man she had once loved.
Hermione's trio of friends once again look at her in concern as she seems to have a vacant look on face, "This is almost like what would happen to Theo." Blaise tells the two women, Pansy frowns as she remembers the way her friend had been, the man in question still wasn't healed from happened to him while he was captured and while they had tried to help him with his drinking he hadn't stopped and they often had to pick him up from different bars at different times during the day and night.
