Gone (Day and Itt story)

When Day woke up the next morning Itt was still sleeping. Day turned around without waking up Itt en looked around the room. He was occupied yesterday so he hadn't had the chance to look around the house.

Day got of the bed and walked around. The house wasn't that big and it didn't take Day long to look around. He walked back to the bedroom and sat down on the bed. On the nightstand was a book and curious he picked it up.

Itt if you read this is lost the fight. I'm so sorry for not being with you anymore. But I want you to know how much I loved you. You where my everything and maybe in a next life we will find each other again.

Itt I think the most important thing I wanted to tell you is that I loved you......

Day looked at Itt who was still sleeping. Who was the person in the diary and why was he writing about Itt this way.

Day didn't know how Itt could have kept this house a secret but now he understands that there was another person in Itt's life. Day thought back to yesterday, when he had grabbed Itt he told him that his boyfriend was coming home soon. At that moment Day thought Itt was just lying so he would let him go but after reading this he wasn't so sure anymore.

When Itt woke up Day wasn't next on the bed next to him. With a little difficulty Itt got up and walked out of the bedroom. He didn't see Day in the living room so Itt walked to the kitchen. There Day was preparing food with his back turned to Itt.

Itt walked over and wrapped his arms around Days waist.

Good morning Day, did you sleep well?

Hmmm, Day responded in a low voice. Sit down I made you some breakfast and we need to talk about something.

Itt sat down, curious about what Day wanted to talk about.

Day gave him a bowl food and sat down on the opposite of the table. He grabbed something from the chair next to him and gave it to Itt.

Itt looked at what Day was holding in his hands and he felt his face grow pale.

Where did you find this Day? Did you read it?
Judging on the way day was looking at him Itt knew the answer already he put down his spoon.

Day it's not what you think, please let me explain it first.

Yes Itt explain to me to whom this house belongs and who this man is who is clearly in love with you.

Day didn't seem angry but Itt wasn't sure. With Day you never knew how he would act.

Itt lowered his head, he couldn't look up scared that he would start crying when he looked Day in the eyes.

Day, the person in the Diary was a friend of mine. His name was Sun and he and I came here when we wanted to get away from our parents. The house belonged to him and we would spend a lot of time here just the two of us.

Nothing ever happened between us because we where both to scared to tell each other how we felt. Day Sun killed himself a few years ago. I just found out, his parents had told me it was an accident. Sun couldn't life with the fact that he was gay and that he was in love with me.

Before he died he wrote a letter that he sent to me. In the letter he explained that he gave the house to me. He included the deed of the house and he told me to take care of it. Before I met you I came here every month for a weekend. I would take care of the house and just think about Sun.

There is a woman who takes care of the house when I can't come here. When we started dating I didn't come here that often. I have been here twice since then when you were away with my dad. I always made sure to be back home before you came back. I knew you would get angry otherwise and I didn't want to fight you about this.

Two weeks ago when I came here I found the diary. It hadn't been here before and I think the person who cleans the house must have found it and put it here. Before I read the diary I didn't know that Sun had killed himself. And I didn't know that he loved me this much. If only I had told him that I loved him to he would have been alive today.

By now Itt was crying and he hugged his waist as if he tried to hold himself together.

Day looked at him with his face a calm mask.

If Sun would be alive today you would have been with him Itt and we wouldn't have known each other. Would you have liked that Itt?

Itt looked up tears still streaming down his face.

You know I love you Day, I don't know what would have happened if Sun would be alive today. But I know that he isn't, he is dead and because of that I had a change to meet you. And I do love you a lot Day, but please don't ask me to forget Sun because I don't think I will be able to do that.

Day stood up from the chair and for a moment Itt was scared that he would walk away or start screaming. But Day walked towards Itt and wrapped his arms around him. He kissed Itt on the head and picked him up he sat down whit Itt on his lap.

Itt buried his head in Days chest and cried softly. He was happy Day wasn't angry about this and that he seemed to understand Itt.

Itt, I love you and you know that. I want you to know that I understand you feelings. You loved Sun and he was taking away from you. I'm sorry that this happened to you and that I wasn't here to help you trough it. I'm sorry for all the horrible things I did to you in the past.

In the last two weeks I found out that I need you by my side. I know it's not an excuse for my behavior but I can't life without you. That's why I get mad when you are talking to someone else. And that's why I act the way I do when you are stubborn.

Night told me that I have to be nicer to you and I will try to do so. But please don't ever run away from me again or I will get angry with you. You had me worried and I don't like worrying about you and not knowing what happened.

Itt nodded his head, he understood what day was saying and he felt the same. Even though he didn't mind being alone he had missed Day a lot.

I won't run away again if you promise me that you will be nice to me. You can't hit me anymore and when you are angry you need to talk to me. Don't just ignore me or hurt me because you feel like it.

And don't use me to fend you anger when something happened at work or with friends.

Yes I can do that. And now let's go home, Night is worried about you and your mum keeps asking me when you will get back from your vacation.

Day smiled softly and kissed Itt on the lips.

Go pack you stuff I will prepare some food for the way back.
