Me:OK. Before we review this episode, let me say this: I know at some point we're going to have to review Homeworld Bound. But anyone who saw Change Your Mind and didn't think White was wrong for what she did yet vilified Steven for what he did to White in Homeworld Bound is a hypocrite.
Onyx: Exactly. Steven wouldn't have had such a lack of trust for White if she hadn't tried to remove his Gem.
Me:But let's review the episode, shall we?

Amethyst:OK. I can't lie: Our new forms are awesome!

Steven:You guys do look great in them.

(We get to the part where Steven and the Gems get inside the Diamond mech)
Garnet:Oh my.....
Pearl:White had us under mind control?!?
Amethyst:Why does that surprise you, Pearl?!? She's a psychopath!
Me:Yeah and this leads to a fight between you and Connie. Which Mount Schnozzola loses. Say what you want, Connie fans: Knocking down your opponent doesn't mean you beat them.
Onyx:Well that is followed by....well this:
Steven:.......
Amethyst:(tearfully) No....
Steven:......And people wonder why I will never trust White. I hate her.
Me:You have every right to. I don't give a damn what her fanbase says.
Connie:Steven.....
Steven:(Diamond Eyes) I don't want to hear it, Connie.
Connie:I......
Pearl:Steven....we let you down.
Steven:More like left me to die. But then again, whenever something like tbis happens, you guys are never there. (Walks out the room)
Me:You know, this episode has a good ending. However the ending is constantly overshadowed in the eyes of fans by this moment with White and Steven.
Onyx:Oh and let's not forget Steven's other half pretty much breaking the 4th wall and yelling.....
Pearl:Wait....but.....the being that formed out of Steven....wasn't Rose?
Me:No you beaknose. It was to show that Steven has always been his own person. That Gem is his and his alone. Rose/Pink is gone and this episode confirmed it.
Garnet:We could have told him that. Steven has always been our baby boy. Not some copy of his mother.
