EBONI.

I STOOD IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR looking at myself & analyzed my outfit. I sighed feeling as if my outfit was too simple for the museum. But then again, after the museum we're going bowling & then after we're going to a diner.

I turned around & looked at my ass in the jeans I'm currently wearing. A knock on the door caught my attention. I'm assuming it's my dad since we're the only ones here.

"Come in!"

The knob turned & the door opened revealing my dad in a black silk robe with his beautiful locs in a bun. He held a wine glass in his left hand. He then leaned against the door frame watching me.

"It's 5pm, you're going to bed already?" I questioned & he scoffed at me making me smile.

"Girl no, you're father isn't here & you're leaving meaning I have the house to myself." He cheered doing a few hops in excitement & I laughed at him.

"Yeah yeah, anyway can you help me?" I sighed & he nodded.

"My outfit, is it basic?" I asked knowing he won't sugarcoat shit & tell me how it is, even if it does hurt my feelings.

"No, just change the shoes." He said pointing at the ' lightning ' Jordan 4s on my feet & I nodded.

"The New balance 574 or the 990?" I asked as I headed to my closet & grabbed the 2 boxes of shoes.

"Neither, ugly ass shoes." He scoffed & I frowned.

"They are not ugly, stop it." I defended & he simply rolled his eyes as he took a quick sip of his red wine.

I placed the boxes of shoes back on the stack & grabbed the other box of the black Yeezy 700 v3.

"Yes!"

I chuckled at his reaction & sat on my bed kicking off my Jordan 4s & put on the Yeezy's.

I stood up & headed over to my mirror looking at my outfit & hummed satisfied.

I wore light wash straight leg jeans that are ripped on the knee areas with a black short sleeve graphic tee. I grabbed my bead bracelets off my nightstand & put them on covering my scars.

"Ah! My baby girl is going out on an actual date!" My dad squealed & I laughed catching the shade thrown at the ' Actual '.
