I stopped and exited my car in front of a nearby restaurant.

Alright, let's see the Senator.

I entered the building and went to the table that I reserved.

The Senator was already there and greeted me with a smile.

He stood up and shook my hand before sitting down again.

Y/N: Nice to see you, Senator Armstrong.

Senator: Likewise, Mr. L/N.

Y/N: Will you order something?

Senator: No, I have everything I need right in front of me.

Y/N: So, how are things going for you? There was quite some trouble lately, wasn't there?

Senator: Yes, but nothing my mercs couldn't take care of.

The waiter walked up to us but the Senator waved him off before he could ask us anything.

Y/N: So the Desperado group is fully under your command?

Senator: Desperado Enforcement LLC. One of my best mercs, Sundowner, defeated the leader of the Black Dragon and took control of the group, before turning it to our own new group.

Y/N: This group has quite some history then, hm? XOF turned into the Black Dragon and now into Desperado Enforcement.

Senator: The group's history is much longer and dates back to the days of the Templars, but I don't want to bore you with the details.

Y/N: You do not bore me at all. Quite the opposite actually. I never knew this story dates back to the middle ages.

Senator: You'd be surprise how deep this rabbit hole goes. But that's not important right now. Tell me how the RPD is doing.

Y/N: They're doing alright, we just got a new recruit in. It's a girl that wants to join the combat unit.

He chuckled.

Senator: She's up for some disappointment then.

Y/N: She looks innocent but her brother Chris claims he trained her.

Senator: And who's this Chris?

Y/N: He was a part of S.T.A.R.S once.

Senator: Wait. What is the girl's name?

Y/N: Claire.

Senator: It's the Redfield family then. The guy is Chris Redfield, I heard a lot about him while he was active.

Y/N: Is he as tough as he claims?

Senator: No, he has a big, annoying mouth and ego but that's it.

Y/N: Another new arrival will be a interrogation specialist from BOPE. I don't know if she has arrived yet.

Senator: BOPE? What are they even doing in Raccoon City?

Y/N: The Boss said she is part of "Team Rainbow", whatever the hell that is.

Senator: Ah, I know those fuckers. Some anti terror team.

Y/N: What's so special about them?

Senator: They recruit specialist from all around the globe. South America, Europe, Asia, even Africa.

Y/N: Are they good?

Senator: Good against low level threat terrorists. They'd get crushed by my mercs but we're not at war...yet.

Y/N: Are you planning on destroying them?

Senator: No, they will do that themselves. I can't tell you much, but there is quite a threat coming up, very soon.
