I was scrolling through my phone when I suddenly heard a knock on my door.

I don't think the Senator's agent should arrive that soon and besides that she would have no way to get to my room, so I assumed it was Leon or someone else from my unit.

I walked over to the door as the knocks became louder and more impatient.

Y/N: Calm down, I hear you.

I unlocked and opened the door to see a woman with long pink hair, dressed in some sort of cybernetic suit.

???: Hey there.

She said with a smile before pushing me aside and entering the room.

Y/N: Did the Senator-

???: Yes, close the door.

I did as I was told and saw her looking around the room with a smile.

???: Is this your office? Looks comfortable.

Y/N: It is yeah. I'm Y/N, by the way.

???: I know. You can call me Mistral. I was send here by the Senator to give you your new tool.

Y/N: My new tool? And what would that be?

Mistral: You like playing around with swords, right?

How does she know about that?

I looked at her in surprise.

Y/N: Yes...I do. How do you know about that?

Mistral: Darling, I know a lot about you. You have an impressing history. Shame you settled down over here, instead of becoming something greater.

Y/N: And what would this "something" greater be?

Mistral: You never reached your full potential. Once you do that, you'll know.

Y/N: Have you reached your true potential?

She smiled.

Mistral: No, not yet.

Y/N: What's keeping you from reaching it?

Mistral: The world's peace. We need another war. We need battles to fight. Only when we fight we can unlock our true potential.

Y/N: That sounds pretty poetic, but I don't think this world needs wars. We can do just fine without fighting.

Mistral: Aw come on. I know you're not that type of guy. You're not a coward. Sitting in your office for the rest of your life will drive you crazy, and you know that too.

Y/N: I never said I'll stay here for the rest of my life.

Mistral: You'll stay here for long enough to waste your time and potential.

Y/N: So you're suggesting what? That I should join your group of mercs?

Mistral: That would be a huge step in the right direction.

Y/N: In the direction of becoming a terrorist and a war criminal you mean?

Mistral: We fight the terrorists. We're the good guys.

Y/N: You are in your books, if I'd ask the people you've attacked and killed, they'd tell me a different story.

Mistral: Why would you care about those people? They're not with us, they're our enemies.

She put the suitcase on my desk.

Y/N: So you're okay with killing everyone that doesn't agree with you?

Mistral: Yeah, I have no problem with killing my enemies. Sometimes, violence is the only answer.

Y/N: Yeah, sure-
