Chapter 6

Ram went to get the equipment which he is supposed to collect from the store which is a little away from their house in the city. As his work is done early  he will be returning to the village today.

Ram : excuse me ! I'm dr.Sita's husband . Can i receive the order ?

Retailer : yes sir ! Can i get the order code ?

Ram : yeah ! It's 6578dy

Retailer : ok sir ! A boy will place the equipment in your vehicle. 

Ram : thank you !

Ram went to the parking lot along with the boy who is pulling the trolley. Ram waited as that boy adjusted the equipment in his boot. Then he gave tip to him and started his journey to ayodhyapuram.

Everyone gathered in the living room except Ram. 

Dasarath : where is ram ? 

Kausalya : he didn't return yet !

Dasarath : it's ok ! He already knows everything.

Sita looked at them suspiciously. She always felt that Ram is hiding something big from her. He is always calm and composed. But when she asked him if he is hiding something he shouted on her. Next day he apologised her but she was unable to accept that. From that they the things aren't same between them. The best friend's who turned into a couple are just a couple now. They stopped bickering all the time like they used to do back then.

Dasarath : so , he is Mohan. Shanta's brother-in-law. Our Nila is in trouble. 

All of them are visibly worried as they last met nila just a month secretly and she is perfectly fine.

Sita : what happened to Nilu ? She was fine when we met few weeks ago ? Wasn't she Mohan bhaiyya ?

Sita bite her tongue as she revealed the secret. Lakshman , Urmila and Bharath facepalmed.

Dasarath : Don't worry ! I already know that. Your mobile is visibly full of nila's photos. Few days back at the hospital  when your mobile was ringing I answered it.It was nila. I told dr.madam is busy and call her later.

Everyone looked at him with wide opened eyes. They wondered why he is staying away from his granddaughter even though he loves her.

Dasarath : our nila is possessed.

Lakshman : what ?

Dasarath : yes ! But don't worry ! We can definitely save her.

Bharath : what are you speaking papa ? Did you watch any horror movie today ?

Dasarath : shut up ! Everything seems funny for you right ? My disliking towards your sister , nila's problem everything ! 

Bharath : sorry papa ! 

Dasarath didn't say anything but just turned the voice record on. They listened to the recording. 

Lakshman : who is Chandrika ?

Dasarath : she is someone who's name is banned in the village. She isn't a human but a demoness. She is a witch who killed many people ! It also includes janak.

Sita : what ? 

Dasarath : yes ! She is the one who killed him. The person who let her do that is none other than Shanta. Your husband saw everything and that is the reason why he used to hate Shanta along with me. She wanted to kill your father because he stopped her from getting married to her love who is possessed by Chandrika's husband. She didn't understand that and she left without telling any of us. I hided it because we must save the belief villagers have on the royals. They would have been in a terrible situation if they got to know everything.

Sita : then what's your motive of hiding this from us papa ?

Dasarath : because chandrika's target is none other than your children. You always wondered why your husband don't want to have kids right ? This is the reason. If you have given birth to a child . He / she would have been dead by choking blood after they were born.

Sita gasped and she collapsed. She always thought Ram wanted to have some time for reaching their goals before becoming parents, but she never thought this is the reason.

Bharath : then who the hell is chandrika ? Why she hate's our family ? 

Dasarath : because she is part of our family only by surname and not by relation.

Lakshman : we didn't get you ! 

Dasarath : she is my brother's wife !

Lakshman : you have a brother ?  

Ram : yes ! He have a brother and he killed him.

( small note : this story is not a Ramayan fan-fiction but a fictional thriller story written by a Ramayan fan . Only the names are same and not the story. The reason why i choosed to name the characters this way is to keep confusion's away as the book contains huge list of characters .)
