Prologue

 As you would any day you wake in your dorm. Soon realizing that you missed your morning classes for the third time this week. Not to even start with how many times you missed your classes this month. You begin shuffling around the mess you call a bed. Trying to gain the strength to get out of bed.

Your beloved roommate slams through the door. Trying to get you attention. Yelling, screaming at you."Y/N, I'M GOING TO MISS YOU!!", was yelled right into your ear. "..what are talking about.", your confusion evident. An immediate responds, "HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW!!?". What that was supposed to mean evaded you, "What happened." A small pause happened then a shaky, "The Akademiya is planing on kicking you out".

"WAIT, WHAT!!?". Your roommate immediately tries to calm you down. "But, why". Your roommate pauses again. "You know why".

Olivia would never joke about something like this. She doesn't even raise her voice. So does that mean they're really going to kick me out. "B..But, I'm passing all my classes. Just because I don't make it to all of my classes doesn't mean anything. I'm in honor classes they can't do this to me. I get in A honor role. I'm more than worthy to be in this place. I shouldn't be in this position". A soft sigh comes out of Olivia followed by, "But it's happening. So what are you going to do".

"I don't know". I could tell Olivia was on the verge of tears, "Whatever it is, we're going to stay in touch right?". We both know we are going to so, why is she so worried. "Uhm, of course".

"Umm, when are they planing to. You know ....kick me out?". A pause again why is she being so strange. "A..a week from now". Stuttering what's happening to her. "How did you come across this info?".

A very shaky,"Well, I was talking to one of my professors about a project and the things it required. And he started talking about how I must be so happy you're getting kicked. Because I'm the second place student in our division and he just went on and on about how all the top students are stuck up and he went on that just because other students like you better than me. Doesn't mean that you're not a good-for-nothing stuck up, nose up in the air student. And how all the professors are so happy you're going."

"All of the professors?". And another shaky, "Yes". I bring Olivia into my arms, trying get her to calm down and stop shaking. "It's okay, I'm going to fine". There was no response to that just Olivia hugging me tighter. "But you're my only friend". This time sigh. Is this why you're so sad. "You know what I won't let them win". Olivia seems to be confused about what I mean. " I mean I'm going to drop out, you know fill out a paper about how I don't want to be here at all. And you said I have a whole week to fill one in so. I'm not letting them have the peace of mind."

"I'm going to miss your pettiness". I give her a funny look,"Are we going to do this or not?". She gave me most evil smile spread across her face,"Yeah. Of course thats do this!". I shove her away because she finally stopped shaking and I left the room to go get changed.

"Y/n, my uncle knows this guild that would take you". I just stare at Olivia with confusion. "Wait, That was what you meant, when you said you knew where I could go". Olivia started looking in other direction. "Umm, how much is the pay?". Olivia looks at you in shock. "Aren't you rich rich?". I give her the death glare. "Yea, but I still want to make money". Olivia explains that how much money you will make will be drastically different. Based on what you pick to do. She told me adventurers can earn up to $$$ down to nothing because they can choose to do commissions or go out on adventures and cash in the treasures they may find. Maybe even both.

"Wait, Olivia when should I turn in the 'drop out' paper". Olivia snaps out of the to what seems to be a never ending discussion about the guild. "Maybe 2 days from now. But if you do that you should start packing now because you want to stick it in their faces".

"So I'm going to pack tonight and tomorrow, then turn in the 'drop out' paper tomorrow night. Sleep the night move out in the morning. Some of the guilds people will help me, I'll meet the people that I will be in the same party as, after that. Correct?". A very small smile was on Olivia face, but I still knew she was so happy I was actually listening to her rambling. "Yep".
