"fine. fine.i would  justtt  love to pet your ears and tail.......... was that good enough? huh?"

"yes, for now." 

He sits down next to me, shifting ever closer. He tilts his head towards me. I reached my hand out slowly, the second my hand touched his ear he lean in closer. His ears are soft and warm, I think I heard him mutter something. "What did you say?" His tail had a soft thump on the bed. "Your hands are cold." The nerve to come for me and my cold hands while leaning in closer and closer. I scoff.

Finally he rested his head on my shoulder. "You're not sick right?". He said tilting his head over to look at me. "No I'm not."  He laid me down. "I'm not that sick". He crossed his arm. I tried sitting up just to be lightly pushed back down.

"Allergies....?." 

He scoffed, "so why don't you have allergy medication?" 

"..."

"I can't even right now."

He laid his tail on my legs as he sat back down on the edge of the bed. "you can hold my tail if it makes a difference." he gave me a somber look. i take his offer as i lay there in silence. "Nari?" he eyes darted to mine, "Yes, and since when did  you start to call me Nari."  

I shrug as he looks at me suspiciously, his eye brows furrowed with thought. Just before laying down hogging the space next to me. He propped himself up with an arm, soon gazing into my eyes. i felt a tinge of something in my stomach. "Am I moving too fast?". He looked at me, eyes filled with guilt. "Maybe but i think it's a little cute."  

"i knew it"

"Don't make me rip your ears out"

"You wouldn't"

I scoffed only because it was true but that was still uncalled for. "Whatever..."  Tighnari chuckled at me, amusement in his eyes. "Itotallywould...stupidgiantears" I felt a flick on my forehead. "I heard that, and stop saying your words so fast." He said leaning in ever closer. "Tighnari? Can you take me to forest again? I just want to get some fresh air." I lean towards him in return. "Of course. And since you like my ears much next time you can brush and oil my fur. Only if you want to, it keeps my fur soft, how you like it." I scoff, "how do know how I like it? Huh?" He chuckles softly and purposely in my ear, "are you saying you don't like my soft fur?" I smile feverishly.

"I didn't say that...."

"So you like my soft fur?"

"Well yea."

"And we're going to have a date tomorrow, right?"

"Yea.........  WHAT"

"Good now that that's set, let's plan together what we'll do." He said just before waving goodbye and dashing away to another shift I'm guessing.

"Collei, you won't believe what happened this time."

"What did master Tighnari do this time?"

"well remember when he caught us talking about him and how you lefted. When you lefted he let me touch his ears."

"What! NOO FAIR! I've been asking for years! Stupid favoritism."

"stupid what?"

"uh....... stupid pervasiveness."

"that is not what you said."

"It's nothing, now please continue telling me."

I lean as i continue on and on about what happened a few hours ago. "when he laid down next to me i could have sworn that he was going to kiss me." Collei basically gasped, "YOU WERE LAYING IN BED WITH HIM!!!!! Why didn't you start with that!". I sigh as I scoot closer to her, whispering every last detail. "i better be in the first row when you get married." i dared to roll my eyes at this, "I heard that too." I hear her let out a yelp "no you didnt!" 

"And we're going on a date."

"WHATTTTTTTT...... you're starting with the wrong thing!! Tell me the big things first! And how did so much progress happen yesterday."

"Well, it's just....idk..feels right?" At that moment we hear a knock on the door and a 'I'm coming in'. Our eyes shoot to the door and then back at each other. Collei yells a 'wait just a moment'. Before standing up and helping me fix the bed. We rushed to clean up the room. Fixing my hair before signaling for Collei to open the door.

As the door cracks open, I see that familiar grin of Tighnari's. As if on cue Collei leaves the room and mouths a 'goodluck'. Tighnari's lays down a few things on the table. Which was mostly brushes and oils.  He picks an item back up and hands it to me. Of course it was Sumeru rose in all its purple glory. "Let's get to the relaxing part, shall we?" I nod and he hands me a brush and some oil. "When I'm done. Your fur is going to be the most desirable thing in all of sumeru." 

Completely ignoring my words he looks back at me with a smirk, "I heard you taking to Collei again. I'm surprised you weren't taking about my ears as much. You really must really like me." He chuckles teasingly.

❝You got to be kidding me❞ He continues to chuckle this time louder. "Well if we're teasing so much. Why do you like me so much. Huh?"

"what can I say" he smiled to himself. ❝My interest has been peaked ❞ he sat down slowly in front of me. "That's such an doo-doo confession! What does that even mean!?" I felt the soft hair on his head lay on my lap as I start brushing his ears. "It means I like you too."

"Well of course you do. Have you met me? I'm just the best!" I say before pour some oil onto your fur.

"Your hands are still cold."

"RUDE B-"

"I was only kidding......this time." He handed me another brush. I slowly leaned over and stare him in the eyes. "You really must like my lap." The best uno reverse of the night. "Smart cookie, using my own tricks against me." And with that I went back to my previous task.
