I watch the gray haired child like boy talk to Y/n. I shifted my eyes back to her direction. She's so happy. She continues having light hearted conversations. The group sent down the luggage and basically line up to give her their gifts and presents. One boy gave her multiple gifts, such as a good luck charm and bracelet and some more. 

One boy gave her some kind of popsicle and a flower. The only other girl gave her some kind of dish. All while my trying my best not to stare them down. I cross my arms. My tail and ears twitching as I clenched my jaw.

After the group have their great fun. The gray haired boy hugs y/n goodbye. They stay in that hug a little long to me.  When they finally leave. I growl slightly as I raise a brow in irritation. 

"How come they weren't with you when you were injured?", taking a step closer. My proximity was threateningly close to you.

His warm breath, was all I could focus on. "I.... Uh they were just walking ahead and I lost them....".

"Oh really? But why did they leave you behind?". His tail whipping behind him. Before I could retort anything back. He started grumbling to himself.

"Tighnari?"

"What now."

"...never mind."

Tighnari sighs and backs up a little. He then starts to look like his over thinking....His ears goes flat as he frowns softly. "Uhm...Can you promise not to be left behind again?".

"I'll try".

"That's good.", he sits at the edge of the bed. He warmly smiles. Gesturing for me to come closer. "Do you want to get some fresh air, you can be having to much fun cooped up". I shifted over to him. "But I can't walk." Pointing at the cast on my leg.

"Not a problem. But none of our wheeled chairs are open for use so. Someone will have to carry you. I would ask your friends but they look a little weak." He goes back to his thoughtful expression. "You can pick ranger you're comfortable with carrying you?"

"But don't know any of them well."

He carried me the whole way through the village past the people and into a calm clearing in the forest. He set me down on a log. "Are you comfortable?" I nod and he starts to tell me about the the plants in the clearing.

"Oh and that plant is a-     Look there's a couple of fennec foxes."

At the edge of the clearing laid a fennec fox couple and a baby. The kit rolled over and jumped and leaped. Before running to its mother. "Aren't they cute?" The foxes soon scurry away, not before leaping and chasing after each other.  "maybe"

"Let's do something educational, ok? How about i teach you to use a bow and arrow. does it sound fun to you". I dont answer that question as he pulls out his bow. "Okay, you hold the bow like this... dont forget that..... And never........". As i was listening to Tighnari his words started to get faster and more rant like. "Tighnari take it slow". He nervously apologized and slowed his speed. It was clear that he was passionate about this . 

He swiftly put the bow in my hands before coming up behind and guiding my hands into the right positions. Making sure to remember every detail of how his ears felt to fan girl over with collei later. I get snapped out of my thoughts by rain drops landing on my shoulder.

"Uh.... We should probably get you back inside, before you get a cold. He heaves me up into his arms as quickly rushes us back to the village and then back inside.

He lays me back down on the bed. "Your clothes are wet, I'll be back in a few minutes make sure to change." He soon leaves to what I inferred to him going home to change.

I move to the edge to my bed to yank my suitcase up, going through it and grabbing a few things to change into. After changing I look over to the window to see that it already has stopped raining.

After a few minutes someone knocks. "Come in" I watch as Collei walks in. "Collei guess who kinda got to feel the ears!" She takes a sit as I talk in detail about about how soft it was.

"Nooo, fair! You have to tell me everything."

"Well, his ears go up in glee when he talks about nature."

Little did we know Tighnari arrived at the door and just heard all of what we were talking about.

"i didnt quite know my ears were such a topic of decision." his grin ever growing. I scoff at the rightful cockiness.  "it wouldnt be if you didnt insist on making its texture a mystery".

"And why should I let you touch my fur? Hmmm?". His brow slight furrowed. His eyes narrowed, then sighed. "Must I hear two girls gushing about my fur. Surely there is a real reason you want to touch it. " A smile crept up on his face.

"..."

"Cat got your tongue or did you get so caught up in your fantasy of petting me that you forgot how to respond?" He scoffed. He tucks his ears away as he says "Collei you have a shift in 15 minutes make sure to get ready."

"Oh.. bye y/n! Bye master Tighnari!" Collie left the room and left me alone with the slightly agitated man.

"Go on. Touch 'em."

"..............."

"You were literally gushing about them a second ago. But when I'm telling you to you won't?"

"I thought you wanted to, why are you backing out? It's fine but if you pass on the offer you're not getting it again." He said smirking  proudfully.

"And why should I take it?"

"Because..... damn it  you little-

Don't take it then if it's so not important"

"Hey! Who said I wouldn't take it."

He scoffed once again and he walks up to me. "What did you say I didn't hear you." An evil grin sprawled.

"Fuck you"

"Later. now, say it you little Lummox..."

"What"

"You heard me"

"Boy your ears are bigger then your head you heard."

"Say it"
