It started nice but now she wasn't sure, she was always scared of heights and this climb just shook her very soul. The look of it, the feel, it was something so surreal and not even she could find the appeal to be ideal. The others around her pressured her to continue, it would be fun! You wouldn't regret it, not after taking the final step to continue to that ledge. She didn't trust these friends or their words and lies mindlessly told to someone not so willing to listen anymore. Couldn't they just leave her alone? She wanted to be alone. Locked away from prying eyes and judging words, she didn't want to climb these steps. She didn't want to continue past the walls and halls endlessly leading to her something passed her figure. It was such a big step, a leap of Faith that she wasn't sure she could make, but she continued this far so why not just take it even further? She was tired and scared, just by looking up the world began to spin and she was unsure of herself again. She let out a sigh and sat on the stone bench, she's made it this far so it should be good enough. Mass sitting on the cold next to her and warmth soon followed after. Tears brimmed in the corner of worn skin and she knew this was it. These friends of hers wouldn't let her stop. They were so hell bent on leading on and she, well she, was just so tired. Not only tired but scared, the height so unreal and the wind blew effortlessly, she almost grew to envy how free and friendly this matter was. But she floated back down and realized just how selfish that would make her. Compared to the leaves around her she was so dull and thicker, not resembling the others as much as she wished. When the thoughts came to an end she was content with just sitting on this bench and letting the others go. She almost felt like sobbing when arms grabbed her stones and dragged her by the mend to a fate that she had no control over. With a smile and a wave she listened to her friends as she hiked up these steps. She tried not to look down but was beginning to find it more difficult the farther she strayed behind. Her legs were giving out and she almost felt weightless as leaves flew past her. A call ahead and a voice of reassurance pressured her into pushing the limbs further so she could trudge along the others who hid themselves with pretty lines and beautiful words. She wasn't one for working and she could be known as quite lazy, but at least she wasn't facing this alone. The height and tears were blown away in the wind and forgotten as she forced a laugh and lost herself in the people around her, people trusted to cushion her fall from a jump so high.
