Run, my piggy!

*****

Jasmine's P.O.V.

"Why do girls take so long to get ready?" Louis moaned, as I walked out of my bedroom. I slammed the door at the same time as Lilli happened to. That was weird.

"Don't be such a hypocrite!" I exclaimed, glaring at him, with my arms folded across my chest. He whipped his head around, with the look of a child who had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

"Looking good, Jaz." Harry commented, as he checked me out.

"Really? Thanks!" I said smiling, looking down at my outfit. That's what I was going for. Louis walked over to me with an evil grin planted on his face.

"Your hair looks really nice, Jaz." He told me, looking at my poker-straight hair.

"Thank you?" I replied dubiously.

"It's a shame I have to mess it up!" he yelled, as his hands shot up to my hair and he began to ruffle it. I smacked his hands away, and yelped, retreating.

"What was that for?!" I groaned, as I attempted to smoothen my hair down.

"For making me throw up." he retorted.

"Well, I can't argue with that." I ceded sheepishly.

"Mmhmm." He huffed, before stomping away.

Once we left the apartment, it wasn't long before we arrived at the laser-tag arcade. We pulled up to the curb and Louis yelled, "Woo! We're here!", before clambering over everyone to get out of the limo. Yes, the limo. It's like they're asking to be followed. Everybody else followed suit, but Liliana and I kept our distance, tagging along, slowly, behind them.

"I cannot believe that we were just in a limo with fudging One Direction!" I squealed, as quietly as I could.

"I know!" Lilli squealed back. "Do you think this will last?"

"I hope so! This feels so surreal." I thought out loud. "How embarrassing is it that we're fangirling over them when they're right in front of us."

"I know!" Lilli giggled. The boys had their hoods up, or sunglasses on, which actually made them look more conspicuous.

"If we run and jump on someone, we could have a piggyback race?" I suggested.

"Omg, yes! This is gonna be legendary!" she replied giddily.

"Okay! 3... 2... 1..." I counted down. "Go!"

We ran and jumped on whoever was closest to each of us and yelled, "Quick, go! This is a piggyback race!"

"You're going down, Green!" Liliana yelled at me.

"Not before you, Brown!" I retorted. "Run, my piggy!"

We were neck-in-neck, almost at the entrance of the building. Liliana yelled, "Come on! Run faster!" She gave her piggy a kick in the side to spur him on, which actually resulted in him slowing down. My piggy and I crossed the finish-line and I jumped off and did a little victory dance.

"Who is my piggy?" I asked, as I pulled down his hood, to reveal a mass of curly, brown hair. "Thank you for your service!"

I pulled him into a hug, and he whispered in my ear, "You are a terrible dancer." I drew back, clutching my chest, feigning hurt and shock.

"You just ruined the moment!" I told him. "And I had a surprise for you!"

"You're a great dancer, the best!" he corrected himself. "Now, for that surprise?" He began to lean towards me, lips half puckered. As if I'm going to make it that easy for him. I pressed my hand to his chest and pushed him away. I sauntered inside, keeping a cool air about me, as everyone else filtered inside.

"Laser-tag for eight, please." I requested at the front desk.

"That'll be £68, babe." He told me, winking. He was like 25. And creepy. Ew. Harry came over and protectively wrapped his arm around me, as he slammed down the cash, giving the man a dirty look. He dragged me over to the corner and placed his hands on my hips. I wrapped my arms around his neck, to put on the act that he obviously wanted to portray.

"You shouldn't have run off like that. Now, I'm going to have to punish you." He told me.

"Kinky." I laughed. "How are you going to do that?"

"I'll figure it out, after I beat you at laser-tag." He said cockily.

"You're gonna beat me? Puh-lease, I'm going to kick your apples." I told him confidently.

"Is that the equivalent of ass?" he asked. "Or something else?"

"Don't say that, it's rude." I told him, taking a step away from him.

"Ass." He repeated, smirking.

"You're going down, curly." I told him, glaring.

"Bring it." He challenged, stepping towards me.

"Consider it brought." I retorted.

"Oh, it's on." He declared.

"It's on like Donkey Kong." Liam cut in.

"Hey, I was going to say that!" I whined.

"Come on love birds." Liam said, rolling his eyes.

Love birds my as-apples.
