The Lord of the Underworld stood under the water and watched Pit come out of hiding. The angel waisted no time attacking the God.

Hades had a hard time blocking Pit's attacks. It was like the angel was made for the water. He would charge in, slice at Hades, and back out. Almost too fast for the God to catch.

The battle raged on for what seemed like forever. Hades was finally able to grab Pit.

~~~
Dark Pit flew over the water. He heard Palutena's frantic voice in the back of his mind. The Goddess told him she couldn't see Pit anymore and asked him to check it out. The dark angel had found the Angels garments on a cliff, including his Laurel Crown, the only way to stay in touch with a God.
Now, Dark was flying over the water, looking for his brother.
~~~

Pit didn't fight back. He let the Lord of the Underworld destroy him. Every cut, every bruise, all the pain. It had to be done.

He deserved it.

Hades threw the Angel across the ocean. Pit felt a sharp pain in his back as he hit hit the coral. His eyes went black.

This was good.

~~~
Once Galaxy saw Hades take the fake necklace he shot out of Pit's shadow and flew out of the water. A dark pillar following behind him.
~~~

Dark Pit flapped his wings franticly and flew backwards. A dark pillar had almost hit him.

"P-Pittoo! I-I can feel Pit! He's close by!!" Palutena shouted.

Dark Pit looked down at the water. He feared the worse. The dark angel dived down towards the water.

~~~
Pit groaned. He opened his eyes. The room was dark. He slowly sat up, and felt the pain that came with it.
He looked across the room and through the window. It was nighttime.
Slowly but surely, Pit got out of bed and turned on the lights. He then walked over to the mirror and looked into it. His chest was bandaged up. The same with his wrists and his legs. Luckily, nothing severe had happened to his head.
Pit took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and stretched his wings. No pain came from them. He smiled and opened his eyes.
".....no......."
Pit's eyes became wide. He looked at his wings. He couldn't believe it.
Why was this happening?
Why at this time?
When did this happen?
It didn't matter.
Ignoring all the pain, Pit ran from his room and to the training grounds. That's where the weapons were kept.
He passed by Dark Pit. He didn't care. He had to take care of this.
He entered the training ground and grabbed his bow.
~~~

Dark heard a scream from the training grounds. He ran for the door and threw them open.

He froze.

Pit lay on the ground.

Blood was everywhere.

The Palutena bow weapon was in his hand.

His white wings were soaked in blood.

And the wings lay detached from Pit's body.

~~~
The white wings were turning black.
The white feathers were turning black.
This is why he cut them off.
The blood covered the truth.
