After Pit "defeated" Twinbellows he knew he had to take care of something else. So, he went into Skyworlds garden and carefully picked out some roses. He didn't ask Palutena for help. He glided from cloud to cloud, all the way to Viridi's Temple. When he got there, he was amazed by all the plants and trees. He walked through a forest that led to the door of the temple. He knocked on the doors and hid the flowers behind his back.
Pits heart started to pound in his chest and he chuckled to himself.
"Jeez, I knew you like Viridi but I never knew that you were a train wreck of sweat," the angel said to himself.
Soon, the door was opened by none other than Dark Pit.
The Dark Angel scowled, "What do you want?"
"I have flowers, my heart in about to burst out of my chest, and I'm trying to keep my feet from running away. Could you get Viridi?" Pit answered back, cooly.
Dark Pit stared at him, then closed the door. He walked through the temple and found Viridi.
"Uh...Pit wants to see you."
Viridi looked back at the angel, "You seem unsure of yourself."
"I'm not unsure, he started blabbering something random and then asked for you."
The Goddess sighed. She walked out of the temple where she saw Pit, leaning against one of the trees.
"What do you want?"
The angel looked up at the Goddess and smiled, "First things first. You will be on our side against the war with the Underworld, right?"
"Of course," Viridi replied. "There's no way I'll team up with that sleaze ball!"
The angel smiled again and took ahold of Viridi's hand.
"That's good. I was worried for a moment," said Pit. "Now...before I do anything else..."
Pit took out the flowers from behind his back. Viridi took the flowers in surprise. The red roses gleamed in the sunlight and Viridi was surprised that they haven't wilted yet.
Pit locked eyes with Viridi, saying, "They're for the most beautiful rose in my garden. You."
Pit kissed Viridi on the forehead and started to walk away before he stopped and looked back at Viridi.
"Could you do me a favor?" He asked.
Viridi nodded, still stunned.
"Keep all the doors and windows locked tonight. And don't let anyone in, no mater what."
Viridi looked at him, confused, "Why?"
Pit looked up at the sky and mumbled something. Viridi couldn't really hear what he said but it sounded something like "'Cause he has no face."
Before Viridi could ask anything else, Pit had walked back into the forest. The Goddess looked back at the flowers, and saw that they had started to die.

Pit trembled under his bed covers. The angel heard him speaking. Whispering his dark secrets. Threatening to tell his friends. Pit didn't answer, he couldn't answer. If he answered that....that...THING....he would die...it would kill him. Then, he heard a shout, something attacked the thing, another creature of the shadows. Pit coward as he heard glass breaking and heaving breathing.
It's okay....
He heard him whisper.
He won't hurt you....
He sure hoped not.
I'll be here...
You better be.
Quasi won't hurt you....
But he might hurt them.
