Upside down and wrapped in scaled bounds, the blond imp wiggled and squirmed like fish first caught in a net. Upon each fight and writhe against his restraints - they would gradually constrict more and more around the imps lanky frame. Most of the air from the little demons lungs had been expelled, causing the imp to begin to relax rather than continue to fight - it was getting him no where. Disliking the way the blood suddenly rushed to his head, the imp bared pointed fangs at his attacker - attempting to be of some threat.
Though, the wrong way around for Tweek, stood a much larger fiend - a demon with similar features to the imp; just more haggard, tired looking. Its wings were torn and part of one of his horns had broken off at some point over the years. It's olive skin look worn and weathered and it's jaws were filled with crooked and sharpened teeth. It had used its thick tail to swipe his feet from beneath him before picking up and bounding the imp, dangling Tweek in mid air.
Slowly, the larger demon lifted him higher and drew him closer to his own face.
'What brings you to my domain, little imp?' Snarling, spittle leaving the monsters jowls. Tweek remained shocked for a moment, what the hell had he gotten himself into now? What they hell was this pastor doing with demons already?! How the hell did this thing fit into that tiny hair ball?! 'You shouldn't of come here...' It's one threatened.
'ARGH... I didn't ask for this... it sorta happened?!' The blond imp grumbled, starting to fight his restraints again. He was deadly confused, did Craig make demons his pets and personal guard dogs? 'You can let me down... I'm-I won't do anything! Jeez!'
'You're an agent of chaos, in my home. Who sent you?' The larger foe continued to snarl, he lifted the imp closer - nostrils flared and inhaled a whiff of the imp. Tweek felt uneasy, whether it was the lack of air to his vitals or just looking at this thing. 'Why... Why does young Craig's blood run through you?' An eyebrow raised on the demons scraggy face, but the imp was having none of this.
As quickly as the imp could muster, he allowed his frame to diminish - shrinking against his bounds and dropping to the floor. After impact, it took Tweek a handful of seconds to snap out of his disorientation and roll out of the way of the large hoof on its journey to step and squash the imp. Once enough space was given between the two, Tweek settled back to his normal size - standing meters apart from one another across the room.
'L-look! No one sent me... I didn't want to be here... I didn't ask for this and HE didn't ask for this...' Panicked, his breathing was rapid - there was likely no beating this guy, so he'd try and reason with him. 'Craigs in the hospital... If I didn't get him there on time... he'd... He'd be dead! Some bum hicks performed a ritual... they used his blood to summon me!' He huffed, hand running to his hair to grip it. 'Neither party wanted this...'
The larger demon backed off a bit after hearing the imps rushed words. Concern sparked across its face. 'He's okay, yeah?'
This surprised the imp. Who was this demon?
'Yeah... he's gonna be fine.' Replied Tweek, 'I didn't take the pastor for having demons as pets..'
'Shut up, puny imp...' He snarled, eyes glowing. He rather disapproved of the word 'pet' despite it becoming his nature now. 'He doesn't know... I'm just his childhood Guinea pig. I've lived lifetimes, imp - you've just started. I've served my years in and out of hell, I ain't going back.' He decided to make a return back to the corner of the room, the imp tentatively followed. The demon dropped to its knees, beginning to rummage underneath the Guinea pig enclosure before eventually pulling out a bag of Guinea pig kibble. The large frame of the demon slumped itself into the office desk chair - the joints groaned just supporting his weight. 'So... my job was spoiling the young minds, influencing them to do the devils bidding at a young age. I found being a someone's 'pet' really worked, no one suspected you.' The demon began to tuck into handfuls of kibble as he spoke, this weirded the imp out. He continued to speak between bites. 'You know, encourage them to disobey authority, hurt their peers, it'd eventually lead into more dark and dismal things... but, none of them were nice to their animal companions... then I'd just be passed on to the next person and the cycle began again...' He continued to explain, crunching through the brown pellets with ease. 'Then I was bought for Craig for his 8th birthday... no one's ever treated me like he had, I got fed twice a day, fresh water, snacks, he'd take me out playing games with his friends - actually treated as an equal, and I got comfy... some influence might of rubbed off on him when he was younger but I never wanted to go back to that life. This here... This is the life for me. Retired. Happy. Full of this stuff... Want some?'
The box was offered out to the imp who simply popped his hand up in refusal.
'So he has no idea...' The imp muttered under his breath, picking up a photo off the shelf - it was a much younger version of the pastor cradling his beloved Guinea pig, Tweek noted the braces and partially grown out hair under his blue bonnet.
'Nope. And keep it that way. I don't want this lifestyle taken away from me.'
'You're soo weird... but each to their own...'
'Ya-huh... So what about you, tiny demon? Now you're blood bound, what are you gonna do?'
'Don't know... The pastor doesn't know it either yet.'
'You wanna run back to hell or see this through?'
'Both...'
'Well, perhaps... It might be worth slowly breaking the news to him... He's a pastor, but he ain't all saint...' The imp raised an eyebrow at the other demon, curious to find out more. 'But I'm going back to bed... Could you lift me in again please?' The demon tucked his box of food away once more before reverted back to his fluffy state on the rug. Tweek rolled his eyes but obliged, shakey hands scooping up the pile of fuzz and placing it inside its enclosure. 'Tah. And look, if you're serious about heading back to hell - I can conjure you up a storm. But don't go bothering me too much.' It was good information to know.
'Secrets safe with me... for now! Argh! And thanks, I'll think about it...' the imp replied, fingers working the lock on the pen until it was secured. Was every encounter in this town going to be this out of the ordinary? With that, the imp turned on his heel and began to exit the room.
He wanted to delve deeper into the mind of this pastor - obviously he wasn't your classic god botherer. Nothing in the home screamed member of the church, no crosses, no statues to pray to, just one bible left upon the wooden dining table. There were more textbooks on space and other planets piled in on bookshelves compared to anything on their supposed lord and saviour. It just seemed odd. Perhaps it was simply a front for something else, maybe he didn't choose this life. Whatever the reason, from the eye the pastor appeared far from devout.
Whatever. They'd be time to explore the pastors psyche and divulge in answers, right now he needed a simple cat nap to recharge. The imps body collapsed into the cushions on the couch, his arms and legs splayed at all angles as he gave into one more stretch for good measure. Once nestled, the imps crimson eyes closed and invited in the void.
His checklist was complete.
